I have to say I was very unhappy that I was told I’d be kicked off for chewing gum which I sorely needed as I felt rather nauseous; being told I could if I had a doctor’s rx - give me a break - ridiculous rule for adults. The driver, to his credit, pulled into a service station and got me a plastic bag - that was really cool of him - so thanks Chris- excellent driving too :)

We have attempted to the call but the number provided is not assigned and does not work. We do not know where you are and if you will need a bus later in the day but buses are full and there may not be an available seat. Please let us know how you would like to proceed? I prebooked a ticket and paid to return from Nanaimo to Victoria today after visiting my brother for Easter. At 9:40 a.m I received this email from someone named Lisa informing me that I did not have a seat . It sent my entire family into a tailspin because of her incompetence. FIrst, I had a reserved ticket. Second, my destination was written on the ticket along with my receipt. Third, she badgered me telling me that I was wrong, I was late etc. I was at the ferry before the second bus arrived and checked my itinerary with the driver going to Tofino who was wonderful. He told me I was fine. I then had a succession of stupid emails with Lisa. If I owned this company, I'd sack her on the spot. She should have just asked me to confirm my reservation. Moreover, there were three available seats on my bus. The whole thing was a gong show. The return driver was surly and unpleasant. I have a BMW. I don't NEED to take a bus. I chose to do so because I'm an environmentalist. This is NOT the way to promote a bus company. Get some proper, trained and motivated staff and drivers.
