★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are coming from Vancouver and do not have a 4X4, do NOT take the route from Highway 5. It will take you on a long and pretty intense logging road that isn't suitable for smaller cars.
Instead, take the number 3 highway and go through Princeton, Coalmont and Tulameen. The road is entirely paved this way.
