★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though I have enjoyed the service and the quality of the meat generally, I am left disappointed by an unresolved issue. The last wagyu steak I ordered had a green tinge to it and smelled very funky, a la rotting meat funky. I have sent 2 detailed emails in the last 3 weeks, with absolutely no response or acknowledgement. For prices as high as they are, I expect better customer service. I'll find someone else to supply me. I still have the steak in the freezer...so at this point hoping for a refund cos I have been soured off ordering again. Do better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife discovered these guys for us and they are excellent. We have ordered maybe 3 or 4 times now. Very easy to order and delivery is fast.
My son, who is not a big meat eater, commented on how good the burger meat was. ( it was straight ground beef, salt and pepper)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to buy meats! Super easy website that offers both delivery and pick up. Not only that but the quality of meat is superb, so tasty, so tender! They source local which is a huge bonus and you can taste a difference. I’ve given a few of their boxes as gifts and they make for such great gifts. Who wouldn’t love a box of quality steak? Highly recommend anyone interested to just try it and you’ll be hooked like me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have purchased two large orders from OVM so far and am really happy with the quality of meat. I had been purchasing from another local farm but always found the meat to be be quite dry. My only concern is the level of plastic packaging. One of the butchers they use packages everything in plastic as opposed to butcher paper. Considering that I'm trying to purchase local, grass-fed meat as a more sustainable meat source, I'm not super happy to now have a freezer full of plastic.

Ordering is super easy and the delivery is unbelievably quick.
We are super impressed and will be ordering all for our meat from Ottawa Valley Farms!

Never buy meat at the grocery store any more. I would not be able to afford to eat such good quality meat were it not for this company. Thanks for providing to the Ottawa community.
