M	M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OSSC marketed a ‘warrior’ workout, held outdoors ..turns out its very basic movements that is far from warrior status as most would understand it. Unless you need to a break climbing a set of stairs, this is NOT what was promised. Upon communicating my position, they simply said ‘sorry no refunds’, while ignoring further follow ups that included suggested compromises. Chargeback incoming.
M	Melanie T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agree with the review from Ed re: suggesting we donate our credits even though people were being laid off/losing hours due to the pandemic. Next, they offer to give your credit "back" as a gift card. I responded and they confirmed my gift card, but surprise, surprise, it was never sent. Since then I have followed up multiple times and have not heard back. But they never fail to email me almost weekly reminding me that I have a credit to use. Never registering here again.
J	John Toner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because of the compact season this year, they added Monday games to our Wednesday-only league as well as double-headers from 8-11pm. Some week we have three games. This isn't what we signed up for. We all have lives, family and jobs and there is a reason why all of us chose the Wednesday-only league. I emailed OSSC about it and they sent a rude email back and basically said you and your team will just have to deal with it. I know they jam packed the schedule with extra games in the week just so they wouldn't have to give us a rebate. They also ignore are calls to their emergency contact when the lights weren't working.
L	Luke Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEWARE. They are NOT offering refunds for cancelled sports due to COVID restrictions; only 'credits' for future use. If the sport is cancelled before it is even scheduled to start, refunds should be provided. Sign-up at your own risk.

Vaccine check is sparse / non existent and many games lack coordinators. Players are left to organize their own game, gather their own equipment and referee themselves. Very disappointing to see OSSC cutting corners to save a dollar, it shows in the final product.
S	Sarah South on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It used to be an awesome league, I was part of it for 10 years for multiple sports but post pandemic they have been pretty awful, not giving us back any money, having crazy schedules, not caring about masks or vaccine mandates. They also have gone a lot more expensive. There are cheaper leagues out there with more of a community sense.

They have access to a number of central facilities and time slots. They have an automated system that helps coordinating easier. However, from these basic building blocks, they stumble to adequately facilitate and nurture fun, friendly and respectful leagues that adequately accommodate the changing nature that is the COVID-19 pandemic. They do not instill adequate public safety measures nor ensure that their own rule sets take into account on-going COVID-19 absences. In instances where this does occur, they leave such vagueness in the rules that punish teams rather than give leniency. Instead, they penalize teams for absences and related injuries beyond the control of a team. All in all, the club is not worth investing your time or energy into as they clearly do not want to foster any real sense of community or respect.
J	John Kellam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OSSC provides so many great opportunities to get out and play sports with friends. I moved to Ottawa just before the pandemic began and have been playing ever since. With so many things changing, and not knowing much about Ottawa it has been a great outlet. I have met so many friends through these programs already, and will continue to play with them. The customer service is great and really helped me with deciding what skill level to play that would fit my abilities. I cannot wait for more sports!
