★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff and highly knowledgeable. They also offer ecosystem restoration services including design and installation. The selection of species is incredible with over 200 Native species to choose from. They offer many species that are rare and not offered at any other Native Plant nursery in Ontario like Dwarf Lake Iris (Iris lacustris), Lake Side Daisy (tetraneuris herbacea) and Pennsylvania Sedge (Carex pensylvanica) and many more! They also seem to be doing things in a carbon neutral way as they have no running water at the nursery and are not connected to the power grid. All their water is collected from rain and they have a solar battery bank that powers their watering system. This is very cool to see in person and sets them apart from other traditional nurserys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best source for Ontario Native plants! This will be my third season ordering with the team. Alex and Zach have always been very responsive. Last season my shipped order was delayed and they stayed in touch to make sure everything arrived okay. All of their plants have flourished in my gardens. I was amazed to see how large the plants grew in the summer when they were just planted in the fall. So happy they offer shipping now so I can order multiple times throughout the year! I really cannot say enough great things about Origin Native plants and would recommend to anyone with a garden.
