★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soul food... home cooked meals...Like my mom and grandma used to make. The best Polish cuisine in Canada mixed with English meals AND The portion sizes is fantastic for the pricing.
The owner is warm and always smiling and engaging with his clients.
The place has great ambience and is spacious and clean.
The service is fantastic. They really have good knowledge of polish beers and spirits and their recommendations are always bang on.

However, the manager was very unaccommodating... as it was our birthday weekend celebrations... and although the children we were with were a little rambunctious; seated in another “party” section; and brought our own cake... we were refused to enjoy our cake (which is totally fine, our friends didn’t notify the restaurant). Still, left a bad taste in our mouth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used to love this restaurant. It was our go-to for every family birthday and we would look forward to bringing home wonderful takeout all throughout the pandemic. Tonight, we were disrespected by the owner. My husband and father in law placed a takeout order and they wore their masks, as per the existing mask mandates and per their comfort level. The owner told them in an intimidating manner to remove their masks. He said "we are not Trudeau here and this is my restaurant and you do not order food wearing a mask". They just wanted to pick up the food they had paid for and leave but the owner told them to "just go! Just go!" without it. My husband stood his ground and at least got our food. This is disgusting behaviour on the owner's part. He'd like paying customers to "Go'"? Customers who supported him when times were tough? Ok, done. We are gone and will NEVER return.
