★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company has a major problem with diversity even though it is based in Toronto. I wrote a comment about it on their Insta and of course they blocked me instead of engaging lol! So I think that confirms my suspicions about this brand. I bought a sling bag from them a while back (before I noticed a pattern in their marketing) and I wasn't impressed with the quality. It was just basic. For Canadian-based brands that actually value our country's multiculturalism, check out The Stowe, which has used a wide array of models in their marketing. It's 2019 and you're in Toronto, ladies. What you are trying to market as aspirational is just bland, boring and exclusionary.

I am SO SO impressed with it! It has incredible quality, the softest leather, and I have already gotten so many compliments on it! I also love that it is handmade in Canada. I will continue to support Opelle and buy handbags from them. Honestly, WAY better quality then some bigger brandnames that cost twice as much. I am shocked they don't have a bigger following! Don't hesitate to check them out! I can't wait until the next time I am in Toronto, because I would love to visit their showroom for my next bag purchase!
