Most of the goods can be purchased for lower prices at Costco, Walmart, or the markets in Chinatown. I was pretty disappointed with the selection. I was hoping to see snacks that I have never seen before or can’t purchase anywhere else. The French bulldog is very cute though.

Cool shop with a Japanese flare and introduction to some more modern culture with a touch of the old. I wanted to go back and buy some everyday reuseable chopsticks but I lost track of time. Next visit for sure. The young owner was very knowledgeable and he had the 1960s classic Thunderbirds playing on one of his 6 TVs that were playing many classic Japanese cartoons. Interesting snacks, candy, hot dogs, sushi and more...

If you haven't come in here before, you're missing out. It's easily one of my favorite places in Victoria and they keep things fresh with new special onigiri flavors. Go say hi! They won't bite.

Just had two onigiri from here and they were SO GOOD. So happy they offer many gluten free onigiri options!! Glad to have found this place, I’ll be back!

Always love stopping by here!! Fellow who runs the place is always so sweet and bubbly and always lovely to chat with! Great line of products and always fairly priced, plus super yummy sushi and onigiri! Sweet puppy Mochi is employee of the year in my heart though. A must stop by if you’re walking around Victoria! :)

Fantastic little konbini? The beef onigiri is my go-to lunch when I'm downtown, and the owner always remembers me and says hi! I tried the melon float today to beat the heat and it was so tasty ?

Cute little shop that has Japanese snacks and grab & go! Like the same hints they have onigiri on site. We tried the KGF which mimics KFC flavours but vegetarian and the garlic sesame which was also vegetarian. Both were great options and super flavorful! A great pit stop for a quick snack while walking around and exploring downtown and fairly inexpensive.

What an amazing find. Hyoga is the owner and he was so lovely . My husband and I came in asking what he recommends us to buy to bring back home for my kids and he patiently went through the sweets ( so many choices), the savory snacks, mochi ice cream, Ramen and his favourite furikake seasoning. He knows his stuff and always tries to advise on which items are better value than others too. Omg the best was the home made triangle masubis..he told me his mom and him make them home made even the mayonnaise. They are soooo fresh and sooo good . #3 spicy tuna and #13 garlic sesame one is incredible...apparently they have a spam one but unfortunately sold out . Next time I'm gonna try their home made corn miso soup too. Go say HI...he will definitely correct you in your Japanese pronunciation.....I learned Oden is pronounced O -Dan ?
