I just had a feeling we would find her fabric here. What an experience we had. We were welcomed with such warmth and it was so easy to shop. The owner is so helpful. We found her exact color of fabric. Bright orange. They where right in my budget to. We had to order the color and it came in with lots of time. It was the best experience I have ever had in a fabric store. I will definitely be coming back for all my fabric needs. It felt like they knew us personally. Thank you for making my daughter and myself feel so welcome in your store.

There was a beautiful selection of fabric that Ingrid helped me choose from and after explaining the vision for my dress she set me up with Jason, one of her designers. The process was quick and he was very easy to work with. I love the dress supporting and local creators I will definitely be coming back!

Ingrid was beyond helpful, giving advice on fabrics and advice on sewing techniques. She went absolutely above and beyond and took the time to make sure I was very happy with the fabrics chosen. I can't wait for my dress to be made and to send Ingrid a picture!! The fabric at this store was also such great quality. The lace that I chose is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and came from a Valentino designer cut off. I can not thank Ingrid enough!!!

It was well worth the six hours of round trip driving! Ingrid is so knowledgeable and has a gorgeous selection of fabrics. She took the time to get to know us and help us find exquisite fabrics that were perfect for the design of our dresses. We will have one of a kind dresses that will be more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. I highly recommend Olga's.

The store is well set up, with a plethora of exclusive high-quality casual and formal garment and dressmaking fabrics and trims. As a professionally trained couturier, I have extensive knowledge of fabrics, and there isn't anywhere else that I take my clients when fabric sourcing for couture pieces. While the in-store selection isn't as extensive as some of the big chain stores, the quality surpasses anything you can find elsewhere. Ingrid (the owner) is more than happy to assist you in finding what you need. If she doesn't have it in-store, she will see if it's available to be ordered in for you. The customer service that Ingrid provides is exceptional, and her fabric knowledge is unparalleled. Perhaps that's why Olga's Fabric Lane has remained a Calgary institution having been in business for over 45 years!
