Ole's Adventure Resort Ltd

Before you book this resort you should read this. We booked two campsites at this resort several weeks and advance. We had read the five or six reviews that were available and looked on the website. It looks like a very nice place and we were very excited. When we got there and drove down the driveway we realized that the pictures on their website did not portray an accurate picture. The site that we were to stay in that was supposed to be considered a full hook up did not even have water available. It was some gravel that was in the marshy area by the edge of the lake. The man there did say he would take care of the water but how he was going to do it I don’t know. Maybe he planned on running a hose from his house. The site that our son was supposed to be on, right next to us, did not have an electrical box, water or anything else. Obviously it was not even a real site. My husband voiced some concerns that this did not look anything like their website and then the man simply told us to leave. Now mind you we have traveled many hours (2days) and we’re now stuck without anywhere to stay. We drove down a short ways to a resort called Come By Chance Resort. Unfortunately they were totally booked and could not accommodate us but they were very very helpful. They helped us to find a campground That could accommodate us. Now instead of being on the lake we are going to have to drive back-and-forth every day to go fishing. In our search to try to find somewhere to stay there were many individuals Who had heard of similar problems from other patrons at that resort. If you choose to book and stay at this this resort good luck! Make sure you take cash as they do not take credit cards and be aware that it looks nothing like its website

Out for a drive one day so we pulled into Ole’s Resort. To our surprise we were very surprised at this beautiful well kept camp ground. I have never had a trailer in a resort before, as they all just were to cramped and jammed in. Ole’s has great spacious 30 amp electrical and full water hook up at every site, along with holding tank pump outs. I was sold with just this fact. After getting settled we met all the other friendly great campers and of course Tammy and Dave, who would bend over backwards to accommodate anything you need. Our Children and Grandchildren also come out to enjoy this wonderful resort, great fishing and relaxing time with family and friends, along with great barbecues (Dave and Tammy) and potlucks. Glad we took the time to drive in and check out Ole’s Resort. Thank you Dave and Tammy

We looked for a place to park our trailer for about 4 seasons. Yes we were being picky. This is now our 3rd season out at Oles and we couldn’t be happier. Full service hookup, fresh water (no boiling) and pump outs (no honey wagon!!). Every camper out there is friendly and welcoming. The owners, Dave and Tammy, are so accommodating, friendly and always go above and beyond to make us all fell at home. Oles has turned into our home away from home.

Being relatively new to trailer life my wife and I conducted an exhaustive search of campgrounds in the Thunder Bay Area. So many campgrounds offered sites that were small with a view of only your neighbours trailer. Services rarely include anything more then water and/ or electrical outlets. Then we pulled into Ole’s! After meeting Tammy and Dave and a tour of the campground we knew we had found the right place. Not only do we enjoy a huge fully serviced and maintained site but Dave and Tammy consistently go out of their way to assure our time spent is enjoyable. If you are looking for a campground where you and your family feel welcomed, where you can truly relax and you can enjoy the great fishing I highly recommend Oles

Dave and Tammy are such kind and caring resort owners. After being in another, not so great resort, Ole’s was a blessing.They are pet friendly. We were shocked by the friendliness of everyone. Always willing to help each other out. I can’t say enough about Ole’s. If you are looking for a new home for your trailer, or just want to rent a cabin, look no further. They also have a pig roast every year?

Dave and Tammy are outstanding owners who go the extra mile. I can’t say enough about this place. Every experience I have at Ole’s is top notch with unbeatable prices, beautiful location and friendly people. If your looking for the right place to get away look no further.

Ole's Adventure Resort is a quiet, fun camping experience. Their owners are amazing and will make your happiness a high priority which is so refreshing. They have a great dock and lots of extras to keep you coming back every year ?

Dave and Tammy have the rare talent of making you feel at home with your closest friends. Whom we consider they are. The chance to get your trophy walleye is a reality. The entire environment is wonderful. Hats off to Dave and Tammy. See you next year.
