Please check out Old George's! There is no way for me to describe how large of a collection he has and how much work he has put into displaying it for everyone to see. Make sure to hear some of his stories in his Saloon after the tour as well!

A unique experience, saturated with history and quite possibly one of the most Canadian places I've ever visited. Stop by for an afternoon and step back in time to this preserved microcosm of pre 21st century Saskstchewan - you won't regret it. Well worth the $5 admission for the experience of meeting the eccentric "Ol' George" alone.

GREAT PLACE -- if you can get past the garbage appearance in front and the messy presentation of the wonderful selection of antiques and collectibles and don't mind dark places and rickety walkways and you LOVE ANTIQUES AND COLLECTIBLES --- THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. Old George is as friendly as they get and will (if you let him) regale many a good yarn about the items he has in his collection and about the house he keeps them in. A couple of suggestions take a flashlight so you can see what's what and wear a wide brimmed hat, long pants and sleeves and wear socks and shoes because there are Ticks to be found after your visit -- otherwise we had a great time and will visit again ASAP.

Wild Bill's is such an amazing and incredible place. I met him at a gas station when I was driving through on my motor cycle. he said, "pardon me m'aam but I couldn't help but notice that you are a woman on a motor cycle!" He continued to say, "I too once did that when I was 20, and I know that sometimes you come across places that you tell stories about for the rest of your life." He said I have a place just like this, asked if I wanted to see the Antique emporium. He said you can go ask Rita in the diner about who I am. I went in asked her, then followed him in his old pick up back to the Emporium.. He was right I still tell the story to this day about this wild and wondrous place. You will never ever see anything like it. It is the art work of an incredibly interesting and unique soul. I ended up staying in one of the miniature villages tiny homes. It was a legitimate house from the 1800's. i stayed in a bed that was tiny because people were tiny back then! 10 years later almost to the day I drove through there again while moving across Canada. I stayed again in another one of the small houses, and Ole george had found a group of 8 cyclist at the gas station and invited them to come and stay. We all had breakfast together. So if you are travelling across Canada you absolutely must stop into Ole George's you will have a story to tell for the rest of your life!!

Great treasure trove of antiques and memorabilia. George is very hospitable and eager to talk about his jam-packed house. The village he's constructed is very interesting as well. I recently took my 2 grandsons, 15 and 12 years, for a visit there. We spent several hours going through the 3 floors of the huge house and we also walked around the village. They really enjoyed see all the stuff that George has accumulated. Well worth a visit when you're passing by Whitewood on the TransCanada Highway or going there as we did as our destination.

This place is a mess like the guy is a cross between a picker and a hoarder. 3 of the most interesting hours of our trip. He has collected tons of history. Very interesting I will need to go back again. Some of it is in piles like junk have no idea what the value is but he does

Gobsmacked. Once you get into it - you will see that George has collected an amazing collection - by far the best we have ever seen!!! Our stopping in at George's Museum wasn't planned and we were not sure what to expect but George is passionate about the history and has displayed his various collections in a unique little village. We ended up touring around for a couple of hours & it was delightful.
