★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Orthodox Church (Greek, old calendar) in Montreal. From outside it may not look special, but inside, this is perhaps the most intimate Orthodox church I have seen in Montreal. It looks just like an old church from Greece or from Eastern Europe (which are mostly Orthodox countries) with beautiful icons, small interior, walls darkened from candle fumes. The Liturgy is all in Greek. The Priest is very old. Offices start usually around 10 on Sundays, and for the first hour there are only a few older persons so it feels intimate. This church is Old Calendarist. Come by Du Parc, and turn on Bérubé, the very next street coming from Mont-Royal Ave. Parking is difficult nearby, leave car on Du Parc.
