★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lee Ann is amazing. She is a consummate professional, and once you are in her office, her personality immediately sets you at ease. It also helps that she begins by explaining how hypnosis works and that I am always in control (she cannot make me do or say something that I don’t feel comfortable doing/saying).
I saw Lee Ann because I had read that hypnosis can help you to recover memories; she confirmed that it can. My mom passed away over 10 years ago and one day I was shocked that I couldn’t remember my last visit with her before she passed. I wanted to remember all of the details of our last meeting.
My first session was profound (I won’t say “why” because I don’t want to spoil the surprise). The second session took me back to when I last saw my mom. I was disappointed that I couldn’t recall certain things (mundane things like: what she was wearing; what we talked about, etc.), BUT what amazed me was that I remember how I felt whenever I hugged her. Those emotions resurfaced and, to this day, I experience them whenever I think of mom.
After the session was over, Lee Ann and I talked. What I remember most was her saying “sometimes those under hypnosis get what they need, not what they want”. Truer words have never been spoken.
