★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ogopogo is the icon of the Okanagan Valley, and it was amazing that he has a sculpture dedicated to himself, front and centre, on Kelowna's beautiful waterfront. If only he had sunglasses, too, as in much of the promotional material for the Okanagan - that would be one cool cryptid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun to walk by. I understand why the old statue had to be taken down as it was a safety hazard. The new statue isn’t quite as cool but it’s still fun to visit especially since it’s free and part of City Park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is something you just have to stop to take a picture of when you are in Kelowna. Aside from the Ogopogo statue, downtown Kelowna is a very cute and an up and coming town with beautiful mountains as a backdrop. Though the waterfront is small, it is clean and offers a beautiful view of the sun setting. Many restaurants are just a few blocks away.
