I signed up to the full producer program without any background or knowledge in music and no idea if I would even ever be able to make a full song. Now, one year later, I have been making and publishing music non-stop since completing the 12-week program. The program was well structured and well thought out and provided me everything I needed to get started and find my way into this magical new world of music production that I stumbled on. They really break down all the basics of what you need to know in a very hands-on setting and supportive teaching style. And the physical space itself is very well set up and inspiring!

I used to do some beats at garageband, then I started my course at Off Centre DJ School and switched to Ableton Live, best thing ever. They teach you how to use it properly , skills, the easiest ways, they help you with ideas and much more. It really opened my mind with ideas for my music. The place its really cool plus the teachers, Erik and Jason are nice af and good people. Off Centre is dope.

I took the Full DJ Program in Fall 2017 knowing absolutely nothing on how to DJ and came out after the course with a ton of knowledge and feeling confident in my abilities to take the next step. The instructors Chel and Erik are really awesome, down to earth and friendly individuals who teach with passion! The course takes on a maximum of 5 students which is amazing because it makes for a much more intimate learning experience. The space is also very warm, welcoming, and inspiring. Highly recommend you take this course if you've been thinking about DJing and want to learn! You won't regret it. Thank you Off Centre! :D

As with others before me, I entered the Full Producer program with no prior music knowledge beyond elementary school. But, with the extensive knowledge and experience of the instructors I had, I am confident in my newfound music making abilities. I've only just begun, but I now have a good strong foundation to build from. I would highly recommend the class. I also highly recommend taking some notes. You are encouraged to follow along with all the lessons as they are being taught and are given an opportunity to try out each concept during class, but you are given a ton of valuable information. And while most of it will stick, if you aren't diligent about keeping up your practice between classes, you may forget a lot. You will learn all the basics (and also some pretty cool tricks/tips) needed for creating a full song from scratch as well as a remix. With the small class sizes and the friendly, supportive, knowledgeable staff, it's easy to have your questions answered. Personally, if I decide to give the DJing route a go, this is the place I'll go to get those skills.

I took the Full DJ/Producer course and it was such an amazing experience! Chel, Erik, Alan, and Jason (my instructors) were all such fascinating, open, and unique individuals with their own quirks, viewpoints, and approaches to music. What amazed me the most was that the instructors created such an amazing learning environment that suited the needs of me and my fellow students even though our music interests varied wildly. I highly recommend this place to people of all ages and skill levels. Thanks guys!

I recently completed the Full DJ Program. It was an amazing experience and Erik was an incredible teacher.

It was a really inviting place and everyone was so nice. Classes are small, it was only 5 students in my class so you essentially get 1on1 learning. You start off with analog and learning the basics in turntablism, which by the end of the program I saw how that really helped me advance. It was also great to be able to spin vinyl since it wouldn't be a set-up I'd be able to invest in as a beginner. I learnt so much and realised my style as a DJ. Highly recommend for anyone looking to advance or even if you have no experience.

Did the Full DJ Course recently and had a great time. Erik is a wealth of knowledge and will help you prepare regardless of what your musical interests are. He's encouraging and patient and will provide constructive criticism to improve your playing. The setup and small class size is fantastic meaning you get a lot of personalized teacher time. Learning to scratch on vinyl and learn the techniques by ear before going digital really helps the theory and understanding sink in. Overall, had a fantastic 12 weeks, would highly recommend if you're considering learning the instrument. 10/10 would course again.
