I arrived after my call to pick up my food to be sternly told that my food wouldn’t be ready for 15 minutes...that was ok. Half an hour later, a long lost friend came in and we were commiserating and then said employee began to YELLLLL at us at the top of his lungs while he was one the phone with a customer and continued to verbally abuse us while waiting for our food. I can’t believe what the customer on the phone must have thought, but I was completely humiliated, embarrassed and wanted to crawl underneath a rock. As good as your food might be, it’s not worth the abuse your despicable staff treats the customers. Try harder and do better.
M	Matt Wood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered tonight.. not our first time, but the food was delicious and they deserve a good review. Great job guys! Only complaint is you are too popular and we had to (happily) wait a little over an hour and a half for our food. Worth the wait.

Hard to imagine I have to drive from Richmond to get good, quality Westernized chinese food. Many years ago we had Brighouse Cafe and Danny's Wun Tun "used to be" good value but nobody comes close to Ocean Palace. Where else can you get dinner for 4 with plenty of leftovers for $70.00 ? Ordered last night for Mother's Day and enjoyed leftovers tonight. "Wake up Richmond"......Thank you to Ocean Palace. Well worth the drive and I will continue to make it. First time Google review. Not a fan of them or social media but Ocean Palace deserves the recognition. Dave
A	A. G. S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gone, gone are the days where this was a great place to pick up food. Today was the third time I placed an order.... Was told that the wait would be an hour. 90 minutes later I went to the restaurant to check (and hopefully pick up the food) and was told it would be another half an hour. They hadn't even started the cooking process. Two hours for wonton soup, rice and veggies? As I mentioned, the first two times that dinner took between 1.5 and 2 hours was annoying... The third time.. . Makes me appreciate the fact there's another Chinese food restaurant in the opposite direction that never takes more than an hour. Ever. I wasn't the only person who left ocean palace without their food tonight.

One strange thing was that I ordered a noodle dish ahead of time and about half and hour before pick up, I was told they only had 2/3 of a portion left and I was asked if I still wanted the dish. I stumbled a little bit before asking what I would be charged and was told that it would cost 2/3 of the full price. I kept the order and it seemed fine...I’ve just never experienced this before. Buddha’s feast was good, rice noodles and beef were tasty.
C	Clint Kjar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only reason this place is still in business is because of the absolute chokehold it has on Tsawwassen as the only Chinese Restaurant. Ordered food (4 dishes) at 4:30pm when they opened. We were immediately told it would be 2 hours (ridiculous) and they would call us when our order was being started. We waited 2 hours and did not receive a call. When we called to check on our order, the young man on the phone told us “I don’t know how long it will be, I was yelled at for asking and told I was being annoying.” Poor guy. We drove to Ocean Palace to wait for our order and saw absolutely nobody dining in. The restaurant was empty. We asked how much longer. “10 minutes.” 25 minutes later we received our order. We ordered food at 4:30pm, didn’t receive it until 7:45pm. This place is an absolute joke, from the way they treat their employees, to the length of time it takes just to receive your order. Nobody should have to wait nearly 3.5 hours to have their order ready, especially just 4 dishes of Chinese food. Next time we are ordering from Richmond, or grabbing something from Tsawwassen Mills Mall. Without a doubt it would have been faster. I would never recommend Ocean Palace or give them my business again. STAY AWAY!
C	CaM s on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good sliced beef with deluxe vegetables, the asparagus was thin cooked perfectly. The breaded almond chicken was very good I received 3 full breasts worth and it tasted excellent. Hard to get through to the place but it's so good its understandable.
