★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are hungry, stay hungry. Don’t come here. The quality of the food is quite bad and it is nothing like biryani. There are many other biryani places nearby that serve significantly better tasting biryani, go there instead!! Only good thing is the quantity of the food, but for the taste you get here, even that’s not worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jumbo biryani is so small, almost no chicken pieces. We got ripped off. Does not taste good, would not recommend to any south Asians that know what biryani tastes like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Should preface this review by saying I am not South Asian and therefore have no idea what the dishes are supposed to taste like but for my palate they're rich, savoury, fragrant and complement the protein/meat well. Over the course of the last year I've tried the chana masala (good gravy), palak paneer (good as well), andhra lamb (usual order) and while the savouriness can vary from time to time the taste profile is generally the same and the portions are filling if you order with naan. There was a brief period in time where they appeared to replace their naan with what I believe was paratha- something I found a bit acrimonious considering it was not stated on the website nor by phone. Biryani was disappointing but willing to overlook that with the taste of the curries

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a supporter of this restaurant since they opened. I liked this restaurant very much as we didn’t have any good Indian restaurant in Oakville. However this restaurant has gone from good to bad to worst. Initially the quality and taste of the food was consistent but then it became like a hit or miss. Some days it will be good but some days it was bad. Last week was the worst. The whole family suffered from food poisoning after eating their goat kadai. I understand restaurants have to deal with inflation but providing bad/poor quality food should not be one of the ways to deal with it. They have also increased prices considerably as well but even then they end up providing poor quality food. Ridiculous!

The Aromas as you waked in was wonderful. After a plate, I called and spoke to one of the owner. Nothing but great things to say about the food and the many flavors. I live in Oakville, about a 5 minutes walk, and will definitely be a regular. Please try this place.
I do understand they are many styles off Biryani but this is a good one. I do wish them well and hope they will be around. Lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you call it Biryani...then you need some serious pallet check. It was soo disappointing and not really Biryani. More like plain rice being out into sambar and serving to customer. Horrible. Definately not worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I may go back… ????. The food was just ok and service friendly. I was recommended this resturant my a friend that told me this resturant was the closest food that reminds him of back home. I have another friend that told most of the butter chicken we have in Canada is Canadianized - more sweet and creamy than authentic Indian food. This resturant may be very authentic but I love my Canadianized Indian dishes. I have had much more flavour bursts from other restaurants. Overall, it was ok and worth a try if you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First the confusion starts with the name of the restaurant. All around internet they call them self as “Hyderabad Briyani House”, but their name tag in the location is “Oakville Briyani House” not sure why they can’t follow single naming.
Coming to the food, today I tried Panner Masakali & Veggie Briyani. In their menu Panner masakali was tagged as chef special & I expected to much I believe. All I tasted in that was Panner + capsicum pepper tossed with turmeric. Next on the Briyani, thou Briyani tastes good only if it’s non veg one. I have tasted many veggies Briyani of Hyderabad style and never this bad. Even the Briyani tasted like a turmeric rice. on top of this I made mistake of getting mango Lassi. Which didn’t have any flavor of mango ? , thou it had yellow color may be because of turmeric & it hardly had any sweet taste.
Hardly fullfied my expectations for a restaurant claiming Hyderabad cuisine. The 2 star is also for the speed of service.
Definitely this a place I may not visit anytime soon. People who expect authentic Indian food may dislike this place ?
