When I called, I didnt realize that the shop was just about to close (so sorry), but the gentleman on the phone was incredibly kind and helpful. The order made it on time, the flowers were beautiful and it made my Mother's day. Thank you for taking so much pride in your work and for making all of our day. I would definitely order again and would recommend this shop to anyone ordering in the Victoria area. Thanks again!

Inquiring about the price of a flower was quickly replied with a "would that be all" instead of the usual "let me add this or that to the flower", I mean if I just wanted a sad lonely rose I could have picked it up at a pharmacy or grocery store. I had to ask the lady behind the counter to provide whatever else one usually adds to a rose (angel breath, whatever greens, ribbon, wrapped, etc) Overall it felt as if I was causing an inconvenience by shopping at her establishment so I guess I shouldn't return.

The flowers and plants for sale were of excellent quality. I found the staff to be friendly and professional. They pleasantly accommodated my requests (which were very specific and borderline needy). I will be shopping here again.

These folks are top notch and I would highly recommend them to my friends, family and co-workers. I have already started telling people that this is the place to go. After having a negative experience at another local shop and leaving, I found myself at Oak Bay Flower Shop and have gone there at least 3 times over the past couple of months for friends and family who have passed. Each time, the lead florist and team members have been outstanding. They are kind, thoughtful and great listeners. Each time, the team has been able to put together a bundle or single stem flower in exactly what I was looking for, even if I didn't fully know what I wanted myself (my knowledge in flower arrangements is very minimal). While I hope that the next time I am looking for a flower arrangement is not for a funeral/memorial, I know that the Oak Bay Flower Shop will be able to create the best bundle to fit what I am looking for.
