O'Shaughnessy Falls - O'Shaughnessy Falls

I was there for scrambling Baldy Mountain, of which I didn't spot major water source on the three peaks. So when I saw this fall underneath, just wondering where its water comes from？

Nice little place to stop. My son loved the falls. We didn't hike up more than 300' but instead played near the bench at the bottom.

Nice rest stop at the side of the road....can hike a bit up the trail. Nice when no one else is there especially.

A rather small waterfall/stream..Generally easy to overlook as tourist are driving by fast. Certainly worth a few minutes stop.

A little wishing well and bench overlooking the small falls and a babbling steam with a nice uphill hike alongside it. Right next to the roadside. Good for quick photo op or exploring. Parallel parking along highway pullout. Can be busy due to easy access.

Easy stop on 40. Quick snack. Quick picture. Will be back to check out trail.

I love this spot. Its quiet and peaceful. It's a small place and not a lot to do but just enjoy the waterfall and mountains.

This is a cute little well with a gem of a hike attached. Bring supplies (water, bear spray, etc.) if you plan to do the entire hike as it's about 3 hours round trip (longer if you are not an avid or speedy hiker). It's beautiful when the trees are yellow for fall. If you park right by the well, you can take the trail up to the right. There's a cute viewpoint a few hundred meters up with a bench if you don't want to summit. Otherwise, follow the trail (which gets a bit faint the higher you go) and you can summit the mountain directly behind the well. The peak is basically a trifecta with Mt Baldy and Midnight Peak, so if you like either of those, you're likely to enjoy this as well.
