One of the most honest, knowledgeable nurseries. Al & Sharon are always a pleasure to deal with and the golf cart rides a huge bonus :)

I enjoyed my visit to the nursery. The lady working there gave us a very helpful tour and a lot of detailed information even after we had told her we were just looking currently and not ready to buy. I'll be back after such a positive experience.

I called to ask about a particular tree and availability. The owner (Sharon) should not be in business or answering the telephone! She is very rude and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She was raising her voice and questioning my choice and how it is a stupid decision. Holy cow - never going to call or bring my business to this place. I had a very big order to place but no way...do these folks deserve my business. Clearly they don't need the customer....

I recently enquired about some trees and was pleasantly surprised by how helpful the individual on the telephone was. I decided to try Numa and bought 8 trees for my yard. I was not only given an education on how to plant, feed and care for my trees all year round, but was also assisted in picking the best trees for my purchase. Additionally, I was told what signs of trouble to look for after planting and to call immediately for assistance if any problems presented themselves. I have spent thousands of dollars at nurseries in and around Victoria and have never been this impressed with a purchase at a nursery. Go to Numafarms they know trees and their prices are fair and the quality superior. They are my goto nursery from here on in. J

Consistent experience with a few of the other reviewers. I called to ask about a specific tree, she respondedin a shockingly rude manner. Dismissive of my inquiry and told me "you're not going to be a serious customer. I'm going to talk to customers who are here in person, good bye" and promptly hung up the phone.

Just spoke with Sharon about my bamboo needs. She was extremely knowledgeable and told me exactly what variations of bamboo they have available and how it could work with my space. Would highly recommend to anybody that is a garden newbie like me!

In March of this year (2021) I bought 7 cedar hedging trees from Numa Nursery. I purchased supplements ( bone meal, fertilizer) and followed the planting directions as best as I could. After a month I noticed that three of the trees were not doing well and called Numa Farms to ask for advice. Please note that I did not call to ask for a refund or replacement trees just for advice on what I could do. The discussion with Sharon could only be described as verbal abuse. I was told that I had to take responsibility for my inability to care for the trees and that all her trees were of healthy stock and none ever failed. I was talked to condescendingly and referred to as "young man" repeatedly although I am 68. Sharon proceeded to tell me she was going to "lecture" me and went on a tirade about how people don't know what they are doing with plants and she didn't have the time to deal with all these issues. The only part of this whole conversation I regret is that I put up with it and didn't hang up. In all my years I have never been subjected to such poor service. So what was the end result? Attached are the photos of he 7 trees as of today ( November 10/21). Clearly three of the trees have failed. Funny that although the trees were planted in the same fashion in a line the 4th and 5th trees have failed, the 6th tree is fine and the 7th has failed. The second photo depicts the cedar hedge I planted over 20 years ago which has survived quite well thank you very much. I'll let you decide if Numa is a worthwhile business to patronize, I won't be going back. I won't even drive down the road in front of the business. Worst case of service I have ever experienced.
