Six months ago I hit rock bottom from a weight perspective, I made the decision to do something about it. I decided to seek the help of a Dietitian. Since then I have been working with Brianna and have found her to be excellent. She keeps things real and guides you in the right direction, helping you to make small changes each week that lead to reaching your goals . I would thoroughly recommend Brianna to anyone that wants to make a lifestyle change. Real success in weight loss dose not come from a fad diet but from changing your life style, learning how to make healthier choices and accepting that some times we will fail at some of our goals and appreciating that this is OK as long as you work to get back on track. Brianna has helped me to learn this and this has changed my mindset. I am a lot healthier and lighter (60 LBS and counting) because my time working with Brianna.

I met with Brianna August 2018 for a one month course to discuss my dietary choices. I am 25 years old and have struggled with IBS symptoms, migraines, and low energy levels for as long as I can remember. I had gone for a food sensitivity testing in 2017. In which I attempted to cut out gluten, dairy, rice, wheat, corn, oranges, ect which left me feeling lost as I was unsure what I could eat and lacking nutrition from the variety of foods I had cut out at once. Nothing seemed to help my IBS and energy. Since I am 25 years old I know this is not how I should feel. I found Brianna online and once I met with her, I was instantly happy with my decision. She was very easy to talk to and I felt comfortable sharing my experiences. She introduced me to a FODMAP plan to help determine which foods irritate my stomach. It was easy to follow and Brianna was quick to respond whenever I had any questions. She helped me create a personal meal plan that had a variety of different foods I could incorporate throughout the day/week. Over the month it was easy for me to determine which category of foods had been causing stomach pains over the past 15 years. I have not had a migraine since and my energy levels have improved! I am still planning my meals each week so I can incorporate a variety of nutritional foods. Plus the meals Brianna has recommended taste amazing!! This is the healthiest I have felt and I couldn't have done it without Brianna!

I met Brianna for the first time at my company's Health and Wellness Fair earlier in the year. Before I met her, I was on a vegetarian diet for over a year but had not lost any weight -instead it was the reverse. Clearly my diet at that time wasn't working out for me so I decided to try out a consultation with her. In just our first meeting we were able to identify the food that was working against me, even if it was vegetarian. As a meat eater all my life I was replacing real meat with veggie meat which sometimes isn't any better. We also found that I was taking in more carbs such as hash browns, fries and other zero nutrient foods that were my meat replacements. When we went through a list of more nutrient dense foods, we identified ones that I should try more of such as darker green leafy vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds. We started with 2 goals at a time that we would commit to and then grow from there at our next meeting. During our meeting I also noticed her books she referenced on her website on her shelves. They were both "Eat to Live" and "How not to Die". Brianna explained that the books expanded on the knowledge that we talked about on the importance of nutrient dense foods and how it leads to a healthier lifestyle. I immediately bought the books afterwards and read through them as they sounded interesting. These books coupled with Brianna's coaching in our immediate follow up meetings gave me a whole new insight into eating a plant-based diet. Before I met Brianna, I was counting calories on everything I ate. But I learned this wasn't the best way to measure if I wanted to attain my goal of weight loss and living a much healthier lifestyle; I had to identify foods with the right amount of nutrients and macro-nutrients in addition to the calories I consumed in my diet. Brianna helped me identify all of that and now I look for foods that are not just low calorie but rich in fiber. Since our first meeting I've lost 40lbs, my BMI is now back to normal and my body feels young again. I can't thank Brianna enough for helping guide me to the correct path to a better nutritional diet!

I had struggled for years with disordered eating and unhealthy eating habits. I came to Bri with hopes of eating more but being scared to gain weight. She taught me how to eat properly and nutritiously and to not be scared of eating enough. After one 3 month program I decided to do another in hopes of losing some weight this time. Once again, she taught me how to achieve this in a healthy and proper way. I've lost 37 pounds and I couldn't have done it without her. Im so thankful for her, she's completely changed my life.

I hired Bri after being diagnosed anemic and needing to get my eating habits back on track. I had a wonderful experience with Bri as a dietitian and nutritionist in the fall of 2019 and would definitely recommend her services! She is welcoming and professional, and responded to my individual needs and challenges. I signed up for a 4 week plan as I felt like I had a good handle on my diet but wanted some additional advice. I’ve been vegetarian for a long time and I regularly cook for myself from scratch, but over the last few years I’ve been dealing with PCOS and weight gain and thought I could be doing more to address that with my diet. In my sessions I felt like Bri was very knowledgable, attentive and understanding. She helped me to identify areas where I could improve and kick start good habits that I’m still following today! After spending a lot of time trying to figure things out on my own and searching online only to find conflicting results, this is the first time in years that I’ve felt more assured and in control of my diet. I spent about 2 years eating the smallest amount possible while exercising as much as possible and was honestly quite miserable as a result. The limited calories led to binging and an overall negative mindset about food and my body. I decided I needed to get some professional guidance but was apprehensive to go to a plant-based dietician, as I am by no means vegan (still not, which she had no problem working with). I consulted a different dietician before Bri, and they recommended a fairly rigid meal plan, which is not what I was looking for…flexibility is key for my lifestyle. I wanted information on how to best nourish my body so that I feel good inside and out and that is what I got with Bri! Bri gave me a lot of information on nutrition and the importance of balance. I had countless questions that she was able to answer, and she provided tons of resources when I wanted additional information. I have learned so much and my mindset around food has really changed. The information gained has been a big help for me. It has been a great investment in my health (both mental and physical). Would recommend!

I had made a commitment to exercising about two months before I found Brianna. I was doing balance, resistance and endurance training three days a week, running six days a week and going to yoga five days a week. I also believed that I was eating quite healthy. I noticed that despite doing all of this my weight loss plateaued and I didn't understand what I might be doing to cause it. I also found that I was always bloated. During my first meeting with Brianna, she reviewed my eating habits and the types of food I was consuming. Surprisingly I learned that I was eating too little (I thought I was over eating!). She asked a lot of questions and listened to my goals then provided me with a very insightful summary of where I can improve my diet. Although I'm not completely vegan, I have adopted a large percentage of a vegan diet (about 80-90% a week). In my first two weeks I saw weight easily coming off again, an unmistakable amount of increased energy and inner glow from a clean diet. Brianna listens to you about your cravings and finds viable alternatives as well as helps you choose many different and delicious recipes that make you forget that it's plant based! If you're a fish eater, she has recipes for you as well! Brianna also helps you stay accountable to yourself by following up every week via email check-in to see how you're progressing. Having someone guide you through what can be a daunting process (changing your diet can be so overwhelming!) is really helpful. Brianna not only helped me adopt a largely plant based diet, she also helped me give up sugar and salt which has made a huge difference in my weight fluctuation and bloating. I am ecstatic about the changes I'm seeing my body and overall well being since working with Brianna.
