I always love the Nose Hill park way. Natural parries lanscape with amazing views of the city. I hope any future developments in the areas is always in respect to the amazing prairie culture of the area.

Awesome Calgary city view from the top point. There’s a trail for walking and cycling. Also, very nice weather especially in summer.

It has a really nice view of downtown Calgary, especially at sunrise and the park itself is huge! This viewpoint however has a really small parking lot that can fill up fast and the road up to the lookout are filled with potholes so beware and drive slowly!

This parking lot at the southeast end of nose Hill is within 200 m of a native medicine wheel which has stood there for thousands of years. Don't touch it! Stand within it then imagine yourself as a member of one of the local first Nations a thousand years ago viewing out on the Prairie over thousands of bison and thanking the Creator for the abundance. The driveway up to the parking lot used to be a hideous mess of washboard and potholes, but it has recently been paved and is very pleasant to drive up. If the parking lot overflows, you can angle park down closer to 14th street. In either case, make sure there are no valuables left in your car or visible, because as with many other unattended parking lots in Calgary there is an occasional problem with theft. Realistically there should be cameras viewing the parking lots so the police can identify and go after the thieves. If you agree with us, make sure you communicate your views to the police. If you are looking for a view of the Rocky mountains in the distance, this is not the spot to park. But you get an excellent view of downtown, points east, and even the airport. It's a big wide sky for your viewing pleasure. If you are a wheelchair user, park down below on the angle parking and you can roll through a gate on a power chair and take a gently sloped old roadway up to the top of the hill, then turn to the South and get to the viewing point from there.
