Today, Northway Pharmacy is a team of locally-owned and independently operated Manitoba pharmacies with 11 locations, and over 160 employees.

Our journey began in 2008 when we purchased our first location — Broadway Pharmacy — a small site with a big heart and a strong heritage of caring for customers for over 50 years. These core values have remained central to our DNA, as, over the next 12 years, we expanded our presence within Winnipeg and its surrounding areas.

In 2017, our ownership team embarked on a journey to bring all our independent locations under one common name that captures the spirit and values of what we represent. Our efforts were rewarded with the official launch of the Northway Pharmacy brand in 2018. Since then, new Northway Pharmacy signs have popped up in some of our customers' favourite local neighbourhood pharmacy locations. Visitors are always welcome, so please stop in and visit one of our many convenient locations.

This Pharmacy Respects the people and helps the people of the community, each person who works there are great and happy to sever you, they are committed caring hearts .. always Happy !!Always a nice word to say.. To help some one feel better when their down.. the Pharmacist Floyd is a hard worker , and always goes out of his way!! to see how he can help you. ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I enrolled in the redi med program and since then i have piece of mind and have never had to wait for my medications the pharmacy will call me and remind me of upcoming delivery of my medications and they will delivery it where ever you choose and the hours are great ! i have never missed a delivery and throughout the pandemic.... it has saved me . I recently had a gout attack and was in so much pain that i didnt know what to do .. i contacted a doctor that did phone perscriptions and had it sent to Northway pharmacy ... I called and spoke with Karen ..( shes my savor) .. I had so many questions about the medication that i was receiving and she helped me more then you know she communicated with the doctors office to make sure they sent the perscription in so she can have it filled and DELIVERED SAME DAY to me .. She answered all my questions about the meds i got.. The first round of meds did not work so i called the doctor and had to try another ... once again i called KAREN and she told me all about them and what i should watch for ... and once again she had them delivered to me within 2 hours LIKE SERIOUSLY AMAZING ... i got them at 2pm and by 5pm i was walking again . I honestly cant thank her enough for helping me through this .. i was in sooooo much pain i was lost and she helped me find my way back . Karen thank you sooo much - after 8 days im almost back to normal ..your and angel .

Very fast efficient and friendly staff !!! It's like how a drug store should be , a big plus I find is your treated with respect and that's helpful especially When your on medication that your not overly proud of , some of the bigger company's seem to have zero compassion for your situation and make you feel as though your trying to pull a fast one I've never found that with Northway . Good people !!!

I called them and asked if I can e-mail my prescription and the guy said yes. Because I trusted them I waited 5 hours and nothing. My mom called and asked them where my prescription was and they asked who I talked to. I said I didn't get his name. They said he went home and didn't fill it. So there is no one who has to check their e-mail regularly? She never apologized either I guess the lady thought it wasn't her mistake she doesn't have to apologize. They don't have any accountability. Even if it wasn't her she could have apologized, at my work if someone was angry but I wasn't the one who made the mistake I would still apologize since I work there. Also I had to wait longer because the medication I needed they didn't have and had to order it in. I was at the emergency all night and sent it to the first thing in the morning. I was crying in tears from the suffering by the time I finally got my prescription.

CHECK,COUNT YOUR OUR MEDICATIONS ONCE RECEIVED Been going there for over 30 years. Since the turnover from Broadway Pharmacy , Floyd leaving it hasn't been the same. It was a joy going there. The staff then would always put a smile on your face ☺️ by the time you left there. Now fake personality fake smiles the staff is not a happy staff at all. There has been to many mistakes on depending medications. I had a major problem with my acetaminophen 500 mg.1/2 of the bottle was sicocamati medications. Serious mistake.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, on basically every single refill I've gone for, for standard scripts they've promised me a full prescription but are always short. This is bothersome because they don't call to let me know and when I pick up they kind if shrug it off. It's common courtesy to let your customers know what's happening with their medications, but not here. They gloss over all that and expect customers to make as many trips as they seem fit, it's just a really unpleasant surprise, especially after being guaranteed by staff that they can accommodate you -- when they clearly cannot. They need to either stock better or communicate better with customers, likely both. I don't overly care for this pharmacy.
