★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Northlight Baptist Church has been an immense blessing in my life, as I moved into the town of Athabasca without knowing many people. This group of people have truly become family, and every week they encourage me to keep close to Jesus. There is an emphasis on "sound doctrine", knowing what the Bible teaches about God, relationships, possessions, our attitudes, etc., and on living out the "Great Commission" to tell everyone about Jesus and His sacrifice on our behalf.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I have been attending Northlight Baptist Church for over 3 years. When searching for a church we were looking for biblical teaching, discerning leaders and a group of people living out their faith in a real way. We found these things and much more in this assembly. We believe so strongly in the importance of "watching our life and doctrine closely" that we travel an hour every week to attend and are encouraged each visit to stay on course and fight the good fight. We are immensely grateful for this church and we are excited to see how the Lord will continue to use this assembly to reach Athabasca and the surrounding communities.
