"When I go into Northern Credit Union, it is a different feeling. The staff knows who you are, they say hi to you – often by name, even when they might not be the person taking care of your transaction. They will tell you of specials coming up for investment purposes or to get a better interest rate. They will advise you on the person to talk to about investing and what some options might be best for your individual needs, and they don't push you into investing in something that doesn't suit your needs. No matter if you are just paying a bill, withdrawing money or depositing money, the reception from the staff is always pleasant. They treat you like a person and not an account number.”

My wife Marion has banked at this establishment for many years. We have a dual account. Top marks for one of the staff for being able to transfer funds from another account at an agency. The agency while bona fide. was not too ready to have funds withdrawn quickly. Staff always ready to answer any queries.

Worst bank around. No one to help you after 5pm or weekends. Biggest mistake I've made with my buisness so far was choosing northern credit union. Crooks too, highest service charges with all that terrible service

My mom banks here and got charged $55 for a $0.26 overdraft. She tried calling them to try and fix it and nobody returned her calls. She's banked with Northern CU for over 30 years and has never been assisted with anything whatsoever.

I have tried to call this bank at multiple times and at multiple branches. I cannot reach a live human being. The service use rose be excellent and is now sub-par at best. During my most recent attempt to reach a human being on the telephone I was on hold for 20 minutes only to be told to leave a message or call back again. This is not service. Also, please don't comment on my comment, simply call me. I have banking that needs to be done!

Ashley and Morgan provided excellent service (5 stars) - professional, prompt, efficient, and personable. Since the January review, service and communication have been very poor (1 star).

Now I truly understand why I left them years ago!!!!!!!! Credit card does not work!! Then debit card does not connect to my account & now...sending deposits back to sender!! Boy...they need help badly!!!!!! This is just my "play account" but gotta move on to real banking....as I choose not to drive through snow storms so often & in line for 35 min to reassess THEIR issues!! Shame!!!! Really need a "tune up"
