Medium is a great size for lunch and the poke variety is awesome.
The Japanese drinks are a great treat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm glad to see these guys back! I used to eat daily at the one in the Saks Food Hall and was very upset when it got replaced by another vendor that serves up a bad copied version of the food.
They make perfect food for a healthy lunch, and I like that they use fresher fish than other places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Poké Bowl was okay but not something I would crave on a normal workday. I can't think of anything that makes the particular bowl I ordered (Hawaii Classic Poké Bowl) stand out which is why I gave the average rating. Honestly the biggest factor for me was just overall presentation. You be have lines of meats and toppings just there being scooped up with tongs so the bare minimum would be to make it visually appealing when the ingredients are laid out on the bowl. Unfortunately, the bowl I ordered (15.35 pre-tax) looked nothing like in previous reviews and was just visually underwhelming and borderline disappointing for what a poké bowl is (a colorful and beautiful dish). There are many competitors within a 10-minute walk that try harder after being open just as long. To summarize: it tasted ok but I appreciate a bit of effort on presentation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place so much, best poke ever and no comparison anywhere else. Just wish they would open again, as I travel over an hour just to eat here. They marinate the fish in different sauces with different ingredients and all the flavours are so different yet work together so well. Amazing!
