★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a faulty part on my gas water heater. John was here within an hour of my call and had the heater fixed in no time. He was also able to replace a gas valve for my BBQ hook-up. He provided a quality job at a very good price. Thanks John!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When my water heater broke down I called Jonathan in the hopes of getting it repaired or replaced, to my surprise he was able to come look at it within 15 minutes, great I thought. After taking a look at it he determined he could fix it by replacing the heating system (gas heater) and that he would be back in an hour or so to do the repair.
Three hours later I called Jonathan to see why he hadn't returned, he told me he had trouble finding the parts and if he couldn't get them soon he would simply use a universal one, he told me I was still on the list and it should be in an hour or so. Jonathan never came back that night.
The next day was Saturday and North Halton Heating is open, so I figured since I was "on the list" Jonathan would contact me when he was available to come fix the water heater. Saturday came and went and I still had a broken water heater. Come Monday morning I decided to give him one last try and called first thing in the morning. Someone else answered the phone and told me they would let him know and he would call me back. Jonathan never called me back. After that I called another company and got my water heater replaced instead.
At this point I will never be calling North Halton Heating again and would highly recommend to anyone who has a "small job" to avoid calling them as well. If you are in an emergency in need help, maybe they will actually help you, but from my experience you will just be put on the back burner and ignored until you find someone else, so save yourself some time. One star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was unsatisfied with the diagnosis and explanation given by a company here in town. I would have been left with no heat for a week and two small children in the home to get an apparent part I did not need. I called John up he was over within in an hour did his diagnose and provided a much better explanation to the problem with our furnace. I would highly recommend John to anyone, I could tell I was getting an expert opinion from a knowledgeable technician, I can easily say he has gained my trust and comfort as a first time client I will be calling him for any future Furnace or A/C issues.

His mechanical aptitude and experience goes way beyond what I typically see and is always ready to help. The good are spread pretty thin these days, and I am glad we have someone like John to count on.

We were in a crisis when our hot water tank conked out on December 1st. Our landlords told us the tank was on back order but it never came and the plumber could not be contacted. By Christmas eve, we were still without hot water and had to take the matter into our own hands, so we searched the internet and found North Halton Heating. The HVAC specialist came over right away, assessed the problem, ordered the tank, and installed it in a timely fashion. John Vanderberg and his family business are quality service super heroes who actually care. Call them if you need to be rescued!

He did a fantastic job in getting to the bottom of a furnace issue that another company had written off as needing a new furnace. His perseverance saved us thousands of dollars and we are so appreciative. All our friends now have his name as someone who provides exemplary service at an excellent price.
