Traveling on Le Petit OisEau:

Unlike our large 100 passenger tour vessel The Grand Heron, Le Petit OisEau is a much different experience and may not be suitable for everyone. Powered by twin 250hp engines, this vessel travels at a high rate of speed which produces an apparent wind effect. While there is some shielding from the bow shape, customers will feel a rush of wind while traveling on this vessel. There is limited seating inside the cabin and therefore you may be seated outside. All seats aboard are triple padded and very comfortable. While our captain will do everything possible to provide a smooth a ride, there may be times when the vessel encounters higher sea conditions or crosses the wake of other boats. There may be considerable movement of the vessel in waves. Splashing from waves or rainwater is also a possibility at times. This vessel is fast and lots of fun to travel on but please check weather forecasts on the day of your tour and be prepared for all possible weather conditions. That could mean packing a windbreaker or rain jacket as well as protective eyewear such as sunglasses. This vessel may not be appropriate for people with injuries, disabilities or depleted agility. Because of the above, the management and crew may from time to time have the need to cancel tours on board this vessel should the weather prohibit the vessel from being safe or comfortable to operate and we thank you for your understanding should cancellations ever been deemed necessary. Full refunds will be issued if a tour is cancelled by management.

Hike and swim in Topaz Lake was a nice way to break up the day. Boat was incredibly comfortable and crew was fabulous. Would highly recommend this tour.

We can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had with the North Channel Cruise Line. The service was professional, friendly and the boat spotless. Thanks so much for making our day perfect. N	Nathan Sears on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I participated in a cruise from Killarney to Little Current back in July. The boat was comfortable and the crew professional and the views from the water are incredible. We arrived in Little Current on the hour just in time to see the swing bridge opening.

Slightly disappointed that they weren’t prepared enough to ensure there was milk(for the tea), but not a deal breaker. Even with the forecast being 32 with humidity, the morning was quite cool would definitely recommend layering with warmer clothes to start out. The hike is definitely more advanced as it is a steady climb up. Lake Topaz is beautiful. The ride back seems a little long, not sure if there could be anything done differently though. It was a nice surprise to receive a complimentary piece of pizza on the way back, as stomachs were grumbling a bit. I would suggest bringing a table game, maybe not cards or pieces that could blow away, to pass the time. All in all a great day! Would recommend.

We had a number of seniors with mobility issues (wheelchair, walker, etc.) aboard and this wasn't a problem. The food we had for dinner was great too!

North Channel Cruise Line is absolutely the best way to get out to see one of the best boating areas in the world while being treated like a VIP. This is a must do activity on Manitoulin and Northern Ontario. Well worth it!

I have went for random rides on Canada Day, I went on the Killarney Voyage and most recently did the views, brews and pizza cruise. My next MUST is the Fjord where we can hike to the top and view the turquoise water of Topaz Lake:)! The Pizza was delicious, drinks cold and service was and always is amazing. It’s my absolute fave thing to do in Little Current. I recommend it to everyone passing through. Super easy to book online and if you have any questions, Bria is super efficient at corresponding via email/phone etc... You are kept in the loop of what to expect and do upon arrival. There is also ALWAYS a safety briefing at the beginning in which most of your concerns and questions will be answered! (He’s quite funny as well). Book now, you will NOT regret it:)
