β β β β β Service was good, food was amazing, a gluten free option was also available for people with allergy to gluten which also helped us decide on stopping here. The ice cream was worth every bit of money as well for a good end meal snack.

β β β β β Well, spectacularly underwhelming! After asking numerous locals about where would be a good place to eat, not a single one recommended this place! I suppose I should have been more attentive and listened to their suggestions and gone somewhere, anywhere but here but on a whim I thought βwell how bad could it be?β I at first thought maybe I should try the chicken but after inquiring about what pieces were included the answer was so vague and evasive that I decided not to order as it sounded like Iβd just receive wings and drumsticks in the 5 piece meal but no guarantee whatsoever about what it may or may not contain other than five pieces of unknown description, bizarre... I decided on the fish and chips . To be fair the food was palatable but not exceptional also very small portions, I guess Iβm spoiled by the fish and chips places in the lower mainland which are cheaper with larger portions. Regardless I was left with snarky service from the one worker, poor value, mediocre food and Iβm still hungry!
While waiting for my takeout meal another customer came in and waited a good 7-8 minutes before finally asking me if I had seen anyone working there, I replied that I had placed an order and after that the two girls and guy I saw in the kitchen had seemingly vanished (alien abduction?) he finally hollered a couple of times and the snarky girl suddenly reappeared and helped the poor guy out, my food finally arrived and I made good my escape.

β β β β β Burger beef patty was so tender and juicy. Clean environment. Just a turn off from the highway, close to highway but relaxed, not overly crowded. Awesome place for break and outdoor sitting if you have an animal. Lots of parking.

Ordered double beef patty burgers, first time both patty is burned, asked staff for replace.
Second time, replace patty still burned.
Fries is dry and no taste.

β β β β β Stopped by on a rest day for lunch. The service here is wonderful and the staff is friendly. The pricing of the food is average for some items especially the combos. The portion sizes do make up for the price but the flavour is subpar. If youβre looking for a quick lunch with good portions Iβd recommend nomads. A positive though is that the milkshakes are really good and nice to be able to customize them.

β β β β β Hearty, tasty food and excellent service. We try to stop for a meal whenever we're travelling through Revelstoke. The pictures show the chicken pesto panini with the daily soup and the tandoori chicken panini with fries.

β β β β β Rather than cooking on the grill, burgers here are flat cooked so much more of the natural fats and juices remain in the patty. This always makes for a superior burger. Plus the fixings are ample and fresh. My son makes the best burgers around; honestly, these are a close second. Very good.
Mind you, for a combo (burger, fries, pop) it is quite pricey at $21 but when I dine out I don't worry about the economics as much as I focus on the quality of the food. And as far as service is concerned, the one girl working the till and front of house is adequate if it is a quiet evening as it was when we arrived (we were the only ones there). However, shortly after there was a rush and within 15 minutes it was packed with a bunch of hungry middle aged men fresh off the skidoo trails... let's just say she had troubles keeping up... an extra employee would have been the play.
The decor and ambience is decidedly low key and cafeteria like (you pay before receiving the food) and the location is great if you are coming off the highway, not great if you are downtown.
In conclusion, I understand there have been some negative reviews but in my opinion the high price is acceptable given the quality of the burgers. Four stars.

β β β β β We stopped in for lunch for the first time, and our experience was very good. The hand-cut fries were delicious. Both our regular burger and the chicken burger were quite tasty, with the chicken being nice and moist. Weβre going to have to come back to try a shake - the assortment of flavors looks great! We also liked the display of local artwork. Finally, the staff was very polite and helpful - the service was perfect.
