★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend Nixon Wenger LLP. Was involved in a very bad motorcycle accident in 2016 and felt a sense of comfort immediately after meeting with Mr. Yawney and his team.
Before a settlement was reached, every person we dealt with was extremely professional (and compassionate - which can be hard to find when dealing with legal matters), and always answered our questions and concerns as quickly as possible.
Dealt with both Monica Bruns and Mindy Burke, and they were always thorough, polite, and great at their jobs!
Michael Yawney fought for what was fair and provided support for both myself and my husband during this very difficult and trying time. Our case would have been much more complicated and challenging had it not been for these people and their expertise.
Very grateful for the people at Nixon Wenger and will recommend them over and over again...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend this firm. I have dealt primarily with Mr Mike Yawney and his paralegal Mrs Monica Bruns. Both have always been very professional and thorough. My calls are always answered promptly and any questions I've had have been answered completely and in a way that I (a non-lawyer) was able to understand. They've both also always been very personable and friendly, and a huge help through a very difficult time for myself and my family. Mike is great, he's a shark that wants to work to do what's best for you. Monica is awesome and handles all the details like a pro, while they both treat you like an individual and a priority. Absolutely great people to work with and they get results! I'd give these guys 6 stars if I could.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We met with James Cotter approx. 6 years ago for legal advice when we had nearly reached the end of our 2 years working with ICBC after a car accident. James was very patient, calm and professional as he reviewed our information and let us know how processes worked and what our expectations could be. He and his assistant Caitlin were always available for questions and even took calls from us on evenings and weekends. The process was long and we finally reached an end result this year. James had prepared us with the idea that it might take longer, so the time frame was not outside of our expectations. The end result was better than what we had thought and hoped for. We will always appreciate the hard work, care and dedication that James, Ryan and Caitlin put toward making sure we were looked after.

At Nixon Wenger LLP, they don;t know case law they rely on intuition or mind reading. I know this because I did some research on the matter before I went seeking answers. I am glad they did this, as I was new to Vernon and needed a law firm to help manage various areas of my life. I figured if they can't handle this simple matter, then they probably can't handle my estate or business concerns. Made some calls in Kelowna and I found a firm that took my matter seriously, and feel confident that they will work in professional matter for all aspects of my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a major fall approximately 9 months ago and I'm still having to have procedures done on my arm I called Nixon Wenger to get some assistance to deal with the superstore where I fell on the ice I spoke at length with a young lady and she said somebody will call me back a month-and-a-half later nobody called me back I called them and spoke with the same lady she was pretty indignant to me asking what took you so long why didn't you call me back?? Her answer was Lawyers get busy sometimes with no apology!!! And then she said they couldn't take my case because of conflict of interest didn't explain anything else and offered no apology... all they had to do was call me back that's what I good business practice would do!!
