★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a local history buff, you need to have a visit to the Nipissing Museum in Nipissing, Ontario, Canada. It is a small locally run museum . It's full of donated artifacts from the days of the founding of the village. At the moment, there are 2 buildings to visit. Lots to see in both buildings. The staff was friendly and eager to share their district's history and culture. By the way, if you have a sweet tooth, there's a candy store in the administration office. If you've been camping or visiting the southern shore of Lake Nipissing, give this little gem a visit.
