If you want to find Outdated items and Spoiled food, best place in Brampton. Once I found items in the aisle that are expired two months ago. When informed the employee, he discussed with another employee and then emptied the place. Another time, bought snacks. When warmed them at home, literally spoiled smell all over. Definitely two three days back ones. Such is the quality maintained by them.

It's a very good one stop shop if you're looking for Indian & Pakistani grocery items like different oils, masala, spices, fruits, vegetables, rice, flours etc. along with kitchen items. It also has meat ? section where you can chicken, goat, lamb meats etc. They also sell samosa, chats, biryani and other food items that you can eat there or take away.

A typical Indian grocery store with no class! Could be improved and modernized with more decent shelving, clean floors and better marking of prices of merchandise. There doesn't seem to be a desire to improve their image over the years.

I entered Nila's Supermarket with a friend to wait with her while she got her cellphone repaired. I sat in the passport area in a chair and waited for more than an hour before deciding to get up and walk around a bit to stretch my legs, at which point I proceeded to enter the grocery area of the store. My friend who was still waiting for her phone, followed me and started shopping and browsing the isles. I stood by and continued waiting for her. The next thing I knew a staff manager approached me, and asked me to go back to the front of the store and leave my bag there. Immediately I could see what's this was about. What seriously disturbed me was the fact that my 'White' companion who was actually the one browsing, picking up items from the shelves and looking at them was not asked to leave her bags (she had a backpack plus other plastic grocery bags in her hands) at the front of the store, neither were any of the handful of south Asians patronizing the store asked when they entered the store to leave their bags up front. I was the only 'Black' person in the store and the first and only person (at least during the time I was there) who was approached and told to leave my bag at the front entrance. This was clearly a case of blatant racism. I was singled out for the mere fact that I was wearing the wrong skin color when I entered that store, a.k.a, waiting while Black. When I asked the staff why she singled me out to leave my bag at the front of the store, her explanation was that she was only doing her job. Really!? I was professionally dressed, was not patronizing the store and still I was seen as a potential shoplifter, meanwhile the actual thieves are getting away with what I'm being suspected of possibly doing. There was nothing I said or did that caused a red flag to go up indicating I could be a threat. Nothing! The only wrong I committed was to enter Nila's Supermarket wearing the 'wrong' skin color. If it were any other day and I entered the store dressed the way I was that day but looking more like my German friend, I'm willing to bet nothing would have been said to me. How do I know this? This same White friend told me right after we left the store and we were discussing what happen, that she frequents this store and is never asked to leave her bag at the front of the store. I have never shoplifted in my life and while Nila's Supermarket staff is busy keeping their suspecting eyes on people who look like me to keep us from shoplifting, the real stealing is being committed by the people they're not watching right under their noses. Sad. Nila's Supermarket have at least one less person to worry about stealing their stuff...me returning to patronize this or any of their establishments.
