★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not my kind of food. But, with that said I am glad I went with friends. I got the boar burger and had a smoked Caesar drink. Fries are hand cut. Food was fresh. But, a bit heavy for my taste. When I go back I will try the salads. They look great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a fine establishment. Very nice service, with a warm and relaxing decor. (Service: after delivering the mains, the fella was back in two minutes enquiring "How were the first few bites?" That is an excellent touch of service, and all too rare. Thank you for that)
The purpose of this review is to put out the good word and that is, 'I had the Duck poutine as my main, and it was Stellar'. So good. Steaming hot on the table, the first bite took me by pleasant surprise. The taste on the tongue was beautifully paired with, with a savory aroma I couldn't quite place, but was unique and compelling. Before ordering, my dinner guest was raving about this poutine. Said he would order two of them!
Poutine generally, ya, its good, it's okay, but as a main, and two of them, really? Lol, as I dug in, I thought to myself, 'Yes, I could So eat two of these!' Maybe next time. It was that good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in for a bite to start off our long weekend. Careful and thorough cleaning procedures when we were seated followed by prompt service for drinks and food. The burger was delicious as was the bannock grilled cheese. Dessert was fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to Wakefield many times and have noticed this restaurant every visit. I finally decided to give it a try and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The ambience is very cosy and comfortable. The food is fabulous. I enjoyed the Mac and Cheese bowl with the elk sausage. Delicious! The server was great and polite as was the nice lady who gave us our bill in the end. I will definitely return and hopefully try out the patio in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Google maps is showing as temporarily closed but this an error. Nikosi is open. We came out from Ottawa to enjoy some food and drinks since the restaurants in the city were fully booked. Love the cozy, festive feel of Nikosi and the fish and chips is the best we’ve had! Worth the trip here!

The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out.
