★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a leak somewhere on our upper floor that I suspected was coming from the roof. I contacted Nika Roofing based on their reviews and was shortly emailed by Gena. Gena came by and had a look but there was nothing super obvious about where the water was entering the house but Gena suspected a spot. He patched the area and said he wasn't going to charge me unless it appeared the spot fixed the issue. Several rainy days have passed and his solution appears to have worked. I'm very impressed by Gena's honesty and way of doing business. I hope for no more roof issues but if there are, I will be calling Gena again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a problem with water leaking between the fascia boards and gutter on our flat-roof in the back of our house. Gena promptly dropped by to diagnose the problem and returned a couple days later to fix it. After the fix, water properly runs off the roof and into the gutters. On a separate event, during heavy rain, water leaked into the house through a different area of the roof. Once again, Gena to the rescue. After a phone call, he literally arrived in 20 mins, to assess the problem and determined the issue was a cracked vent. He quickly replaced the vent and stopped the water from coming through. In all my dealings with Gena, he has been friendly, honest, knowledgeable, effective and professional. He will definitely be my go-to-guy for any future roofing needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son called Gena last October when my skylight was leaking. Gena came within 2 days. He was not able to access the house as no one was in but gave a quote, I called Gena when I came back to Vancouver in November. During that visit, he came into the house and did a good inspection of the attic where the leak was coming from the skylight and confirmed that there was no damage to the attic. At the same time, although the rain had stopped, and it was not completely dry, he cleaned out the skylight area and applied sealant. Since there was so much rain and snow in December, and January, the leak came back. I contacted Gena about the problem and he came in promptly to attend to it. Fingers crossed, there are no further leaks. I asked him to also take a look at the leak around my chimney area. He came by and confirmed that the chimney needed fixing and it was not a roof problem. He did not charge me for the inspection. All in all, very pleased with his reliability, professionalism, quick response and responsibility. Very reasonable fees too. Would highly recommend him.
