It was not an easy project as the old posts and boards had to be hauled up a steep slope to a waste bin. The pergola, gates and fence are cedar and custom built by Scott himself. Scott is an amazing young man, extremely personable and polite. He is very detailed and his work shows it. Scott was everything you could hope for in dealing with a contractor. He was friendly, prompt, communicative, and was very patient answering all of our questions---also very conscientious of COVID-19 protocols and always wore a mask and kept his distance. Scott came to our property to plan everything out and walk us through the project. He was very flexible when we needed to make an adjustment to the scope of work and even took time at the end to give us a tutorial of the Rain Bird controller. My husband and I were really, really impressed by how hard of a worker Scott is. We would recommend Newlands Outdoor Projects Ltd. to anyone!

The landscape ties holding the soil back, had rotted out after 26 yrs and were a safety hazard. They showed up on time, worked diligently all day, did a lot of heavy lifting (those blocks weigh 70 each) and left the site all cleaned up. We are very pleased with the job they did, and would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work.
