Enjoyed watching the STAMPS in the Western Final (but not the result), plus multiple Sunday NFL games all going at the same time on their multiple large screens. Have had fish tacos many times, so know what I was comparing with, and Newcastle Pub's the best by far. Grilled, not battered. Three tacos, each with generous portions of Basa fillets and very flavorful grilled veggie mix. Just great. Oh, and both our servers (shift change) very nice, attentive, and prompt service!

We ordered 3 items from Newcastle Pub on skip the dishes. When it was delivered, it was clearly someone else’s order. We had received 3 very different meals than what our order was. I immediately called the pub to inform them of this, and see what we could do. I was kind and patient on the phone and was met with unnecessary attitude. The manager, Jason, immediately blamed skip the dishes and told me they were the problem. He did not want to take any accountability or offer any assistance in the matter. Last time I checked, pub staff hands the meals to the skip drivers. Our order bag had no order # or markings on it. The only thing the manager told me to do was to β€œcontact skip the dishes and get a refund and then reorder”. As it was 8:30pm, we did not reorder. And we most likely won’t be ordering again. The food that did show up was cold and soggy and not edible.

Newcastle is what all locals should aspire to be - solid menu with enough diversity to satisfy anyone, good tap selection and really great happy hour/lunch hour pricing. Staff are solid - friendly and attentive. Food is quick and well made.

Local neighbourhood pub feel. Daily specials, friendly staff… try the fish and chips. Would recommend.

Great neighborhood pub. The staff is really friendly. The food is really good. The french onion soup is so good and the thai wings.

We recently moved to Calgary and wanted to try this place out. Excellent service, genuinely beyond expectations. Food was decent, no complaints wish I had tried the fish and chips though. Good selection on tap, and to be honest really good prices. This place hits all the bases you want in a local pub. It'll be my go to spot

To compliment the service, or the food??? This has been amazing! My first visit here and 11/10 will come back and recommend. Service with not only a smile, but with intention !! Steak tastes like your at a michellan star restaurant !! Compliments to the chef(s) ! AND the management !

Newcastle Pub is a mainstay of my friends and I after a grueling day of disc golf. What keeps us coming back is the staff, the food, the location and finally the ambience. Lots of TV's for sports, lots of beer on tap and lots of tables for your crew. I have never had a bad experience there and the Sunday brunch is fantastic.
