K	Kurt Baksh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newcastle is a fantastic course, not too far or out of the way. The people are very welcoming and you feel at ease. The course needs some upkeep, like the fairways needs to be grassed up a bit and the bunkers needs some sand. But other than that a good test of your game and the greens are not easy. We'll play here again and again and again!
K	Karl Dorner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thankfully I read the reviews before golfing the course…expectations were very low. The front 9 clearly represented most of all the negative reviews. The back 9 was in far better condition and is actually a very enjoyable 9 holes to play. Management should seriously consider shutting down the front 9 for the season and repairing all of the issues. Fairways were weeds, or grass you would expect in the toughest of roughs. Numerous times we couldn’t locate our balls on the “fairway”: Greens on the front were also in pretty rough shape. It’s obvious that the grounds crew know what they are doing by the conditions of the back nine tho. Staff are super friendly. We have always enjoyed this course in the past…it’s unfortunate that the front nine was in use in such poor condition.
J	Jocelyn Arsenault on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ posting for my husband went out the other day to play at newcastle golf and country and from all the bad reviews I’ve seen lately I expected the worst but hoped for the best, I feel like all the negative reviews need to be deleted, these guys have came a long way from having to completely redo their course due to a grub infestation, the fairways were great, the greens were great, they’ve definitely gotten this course back to what it was! I’ll be coming back next week for sure!
M	Matt Macaskill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Course really could be in better shape and the amount of balls we lost in the middle of the fairway due to lack of maintenance was frustrating. The worst bugs I experienced when golfing, but likely due to the late tee off time. Friendly staff though.

The conditions are good even though I know there has been no rain in sight. The course layout is gorgeous with lots of old trees dividing holes making it feel very private! Great time for a great low price, will be making another tee time tonight!

Don't expect anything from the fairways, however it does have challenging well laid out holes that I rather enjoyed. I generally play higher end courses however this will be my go to practice course.

Back 9 is as challenging and beautiful as ever and the front is finally recovering. Great place with good prices, will be coming back regularly again!
C	Craig Mc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful conditions. I know it early on the year. But the dried grass from last year is just mud. Putting on the greens is like playing plenko on the price is right. Played 9 holes and cost $40. A better price would be $15. They over book with tee times every 4 min. It's run like caddy shack. I heard there is finally new owners. They have a long way to go before they get their reputation back. I remember playing when it was one of the top courses in southern Ontario. Now it garbage. Don't waste your time or money.
