L	Lenny (Nea) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed in this daycare. We had multiple safety concerns with them that we approached and there was 0 responsibility taken on their part. When I spoke with Aldona, I was told that my concerns were "not a real concern" and that they were annoyed that I was even bringing them up at all. I would not recommend based on the way they handled my expressed anxiousness about the situations for my child and the way that they make parents feel about justifiable concerns. Aldona was very rude, wouldn't let me get a word in to explain to her my concerns, I was getting spoken over the entire conversation and by the end of it I was frustrated, getting angry, spoke my mind and left the conversation because there was no getting through to her. She would not even hear my concerns without already having a response by saying "you have to understand, this is what kids do". I understand that they have been doing this awhile, but as a mother, if I have a concern and as someone who is taking care of my child, you listen, you learn from that and you apologize, you do not respond by belittling the parent. I was really looking forward to having my child there and they are wonderful until you voice a concern and then nothing is done and no responsibility is taken to make you feel comfortable and you are made to feel as if your concerns are completely invalid. It was almost as if they could do not wrong and because of this, sadly, I would not recommend because if you do ever have a concern, best of luck to you.
s	sarah hull on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot put into words my gratitude to the staff of New Horizon, Langley. This is a positively outstanding daycare. I was living in Vancouver, we moved to Langley and I attended walkthroughs of several facilities, and New Horizon stood out. My 4 year old has now been attending for 4 months, and we couldn't be happier. It provides such good care, that I am astonished it is so affordable, I would classify the attention my son receives as what I would expect from an elite daycare. Within a month he could recite the alphabet - A MONTH. They are teaching him to read, and preparing him for school in a way that seems to make him genuinely engaged and excited to learn and practice. He settled in immediately, the teachers are so warm and assuring. My son is encouraged to eat all his food, where the last daycare would simply leave it up to him and I would collect him starving. He is always happy when I pick him up, the facility is beautifully maintained. On the weekend when he draws a picture or makes art, he asks to take it to school to show his teachers. That in itself to me proves the bonds he has made with them, plus I see him cuddling away his teachers once I leave. If you can be patient with the waitlist, and if you are able to get a spot, you will never consider another daycare again. Thanks again to all the magnificent staff for providing a second family and home for my baby, watching him thrive as he has brings me so much joy x

New Horizon has been everything I could have hoped for in a childcare centre. All of the staff are warm, kind, reliable and compassionate childcare providers. Our children have always felt like it was their second home. They have learned, grown and become strong, independent little people more than ready to enter kindergarten. Highly recommend!

I especially love all of the fun art projects and the outdoor time the kids receive whether it's nature walks or fun activities in the safely fenced play area next to the daycare. All three of our girls are/have attended New Horizon and we would highly recommend this daycare to all families with littles!

We moved to Langley from out of the area and transitioned our son from 3 days a week to full time over the course of a couple of months. At our previous preschool he would be hysterical at drop off and cry for us not to leave him. Once he started at New Horizons the crying stopped and he entered with confidence every morning. The staff and owners have helped my son gain tremendous self-reliance, courage and incredible learning skills during his time here. His handwriting, drawing, and fine motor skills have improved by leaps and bounds. I just don't know how to appropriately put into words how grateful we are to have found this incredible school for our son. He has truly blossomed under their wonderful care. You will not regret sending your child to this adorable school!

He was such a shy boy when he first started, and they went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. They show up every day and take such great care of all of the kids. You can tell that they truly care about each and every child, which is the best feeling as a parent. Both Aldona & Martynka are always creating new ideas of crafts and tasks that the children can complete and the kids have such a great time every single day. The have an amazing outdoor space and utilize it daily or go for walks (weather dependent). They always keep you fully updated on how each day went for your child and have excellent and open communication with parents. I am so thankful for New Horizon and all the staff!

I have always been so impressed with the high level of care and the kindness and empathy displayed by the teachers, particularly the managers and current I/T teachers, Ms Martynka and Ms Aldona. 5 stars doesn’t feel like enough!

The staff are caring and kind; we are greeted each morning warmly with a smile, and they work hard to make us feel right at home. We love that our children spend time, playing, learning and exploring their word at age appropriate levels and get daily outdoor time. The weekly/monthly activities are engaging and thoughtfully planned for each class and target development and growth even at the earliest stages. The location is fantastic and allows for walks in the community, various outdoor play spaces and a community feel. We would strongly recommend New Horizon Montessori to anyone!
