About Neuromed Clinic
Lisa is an Occupational Therapist and co-founder/director of Neuromed Clinic.
Lisa currently advises Alberta Health Services as a specialist advisor in rehabilitation and recovery strategies.
She completed her BSc Honours degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland and has worked professionally both in Northern Ireland and in an academic centre of excellence, Galway University Hospital, Ireland.
Lisa has comprehensive experience in clinical supervision and teaching, including university lecturing. This professional experience has formed the basis for her Ph.D. (specializing in rehabilitation psychiatry) in conjunction with the National University of Galway, Ireland. In addition, she has completed specialist training in addiction and pain management through the Centre of Mental Health (CAMH), University of Toronto, Canada.
Lisa is also a trained TMS technician and is a member of the Canadian Neuromodulation Society (CNS).

I have struggled with depression for 30 years, with little relief from other methods of treatment. The treatment is pain and stress-free. The staff are great, very kind and empathetic. I’ve struggled with my mental health for more than 17 years, and TMS has been one of the most effective treatments I have received. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and are excellent at following up. When you’re depressed, or more anxious than usual, it can be difficult to find the energy to plan for a new treatment, but NeuroMed made it easy and straight forward. They were incredibly supportive throughout the process, and with follow up.

Matt was the tech that I saw most frequently and he was very friendly and professional, and put me completely at ease during treatments.

It is truly one of those things that you wished you knew about sooner. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Neuromed is an amazing place to get high quality care. Claire is knowledgeable and extremely accommodating and Sri and Matt are fantastic technicians. No matter how I feel coming in, I always leave feeling relaxed. I like that the clinic is following the most up to date protocols and yet are accommodating to people’s schedules and needs. With their help, my depression has been in remission for over a year and ongoing maintenance keeps it that way. I cannot recommend this place enough. 10 stars!

Claire was extremely helpful, kind and accommodating which influenced me in trying the TMS treatment, she made the whole experience a lot easier to cope with in making my needs her number one priority.
