Well hot a place for a dog what better ground settled itself on firm land to gather lost souls wondering for attention decent to this park to summons a ritual that had nearly been set for destruction towards the gated end its divine creation of it's existence since men itself left his hunched feature then like a gorilla then developed a manner of social gathering of one track mind as it is well known that dog ? people feel superiority unto themselves as they know that their 4 legged mutt will do whatever they're told even go as far as to defend their master from danger no matter how ridiculous it might unfortunately appear, as it maybe as well if the wife or hubby they are at times deemed to roll & lay beneath tables as they're told to do so for dog owners sounding scared caliss with elevated voices, are as equal their inflated egos. In a different way through their inability in seeing the impact on the other reality-based their inability to accept that there are many factors that can be considered in terms of pets and other types of animals. Such as ? OWNERS XOXO have lived in a different way through time with their fury feline guessing mangled mind unaware that dogs ? need masters and cats ? demand servants for once your dead be assured it(felines)will prye your eye's out thinking that they've taken away the road that leads your soul to the heaven's granted that you have gained more humbleness then your counterpart The dogs park has kept us alive and well despite the Darnell of all efforts have been made to close it ☆ SO SIMPLEMENT ☆ due to COVID19 ENFORCEMENT ISSUES UPON WHOMEVER HAD the will to keep socializing in a state of social quest in avoiding isolation and destruction of one's own identity and independence So for sure I ?, ranted and rave, what else would you have done have I not written ? this imaginary tale, taking care of it ( the dog) while spewing words cherish to your heart and the salvation of your health mental & physical while in the corner ? silently observing the ritual that is still alive and well then that said be it told I have to run home serve my cat before heading to bed hopefully I won't become blind by any other means than the one reserved for me and me alone when time come thankfully I gained more wonder thus yonder than losses... Know this if nothing else this lesson ** we invade their land then we want to kill for we feel we are better in judgement in destroying their existence while in a moment put forth rather in reverse order THE WORD D.O.G.▪︎▪︎G.O.D. simply to watch over you who knows It maybe so L.O.L. who knows best avoid any pain then feel sorrows ??

Deffo needs some maintenance. Other dog parks around the city are far more appealing

March 6th., 2022. our visit to the nelson dog park wasn't exactly to the dog park area.....we were enjoying the children's play ground: swings, handrails, slides, etc., etc... ...this area is enjoyed by many children...it is safe, the play ground area and its games are in very good condition...which we (parents) must be used to stimulate muscle development, coordination, development of balance, strengthening the heart of our children!!!!!!!!

Natural park, but not really any options (unless you bring your own) to keep dogs engaged. Still preferable over man made dog parks

Nelson dog park started out slow ,slow and steady.....lol. Spent the morning and afternoon, in the Molehill community. The gardens ,dog off leash run and the farmers market. It's been a while and I'm pleased to say the dog park is well tended and is actually an anchor to the community. Time well spent !!!

It's my go-to dog park since I live in the West end. It tends to get fairly muddy when it rains (puddles at the entrances and in the middle of the park). It'd be nicer if there was a light for people taking their dogs in the evenings when it quiets down. It gets quite busy after 4p.m. There is fresh water and plenty of doggy waste bins. Make sure to bring poop bags though!

Nelson Dog Park was only a few blocks from our hotel so we took our small dog on a walk to check it out. The locals were welcoming and we found a group of small dogs to socialize with. As is with many dog parks they don't have the size required to separate the small dogs and large dogs so it becomes a bit of a challenge for both to play together safely. Vancouver is a very dog friendly city and is very dog populated! Through the downtown area there are dog parks and greenspace and they are trying to incorporate more throughout the downtown core, lovely to see a large city focusing on beautification!
