s	ste vee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a new resident to Deep Cove, I bought a dozen pizzas for the moving company from Nektars and was happy with the quality. Since we moved in, we normally order from the Raven Pub, which is closer, but we tried Nektar's again tonight. What a rip off - they didn't honor the price on the phone and charged $14 for two extra toppings on two pizzas. The $32 pair of pizzas came in at nearly fifty bucks. I came home to find my wife furious, saying that she called and asked to talk to someone in charge and the owner couldn't care less if we never ordered from them again, even though they cheated us. The disputed amount was a few dollars, but they would rather screw the customer than try to think about repeat business. Companies like this should be boycotted and that's exactly what we plan to do. Customer service from the Raven Pub is much better as are their pizzas.
M	Mat Good on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ive only tried their pizzas but i see people ordering other stuff all the time. Its our best pizza around. I recently finally convinced owner to put my capicolla on top so its crisps up like bacon. He was so stoked on the results when it came out of oven! Cool when you get that kind of reaction. He was reluctant to do it cuz it does shrink so it looks like hes cheaping out on what he puts down for you that way he told me. So dont whine if you ask for same lol. The sauce is flavourful the cheese is good and theyre quick at turning out your orders.

L	Leaf McClary on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have loved this food for 30 years, but I fear Nektar's will fail if they don't wake up to the realities of business in the 21st century. If they opened their doors to the driving apps, their menu would be viewed by thousands more people daily. When it comes to food, few can compete with this restaurant. They could afford to hire more kitchen staff and (this is crucial) be in operation for more than 5hrs./day. They are loyal to their one driver, but someone needs to tell them that he would still be needed for their phone-in orders. As it is now, it's one of the least convenient places to order from, while still providing super nummy Cove eats.

So let’s say, it’s Friday night and things get busy and it’s hard to give a correct estimate. But what really annoys me is that the pizza was obviously cooked at least 45 min ago, it looked like the pizza you eat when your guests are gone… I don’t want to give a 1 star review because I’m all for small business support, but when they screw up, they also need to know. We’ll give it another try in the next few weeks and if we get the same experience, we’ll give up with this place.

Actually, all the meals are large portions - incl. the chicken souvlaki which is a fave with the kids. Our family has been ordering out from here for over a decade, and have never been disappointed. Nektar prides himself on quality food and happy customers - he’s a real gem to have in our community.
