I joined Negma’s belly dance classes in Vancouver, and found her to be a very focused on making sure the basic techniques are mastered by her students. From this platform, it is possible for students like my self to progress our repertoire of dances. Negma is knowledgeable about the cultures of the countries from which the various schools of belly dance originated, which adds to her ability to convey the meaning of the movements and dances. I miss my classes, maybe I’ll move to Victoria!

She is very charismatic and provide a range of exercises, coregraphics and the use of elements. I have been enjoying bellydancing with her and learn her technique since 2018. I've been a student here during covid so we didn't have a chance to have a live show like in previous years but we still were able to learn a choreography, dress up and record a video. It was a blast! Again, highly recommend joining her classes :)

They're beginner friendly and a fun way to workout. She has mixed levels though so even if you're experienced already there's something for everyone. Negma has an upbeat personality and classes are always fun and engaging, and very welcoming to anyone new. She offers in person and online classes as well! Can't recommend it enough, very happy I joined.
