The guy sold me a cold stick as a cold sore medication. He said it's for the cold sore, but it's not. I have very bad experience.

Nice owners. Very helpful and convenient location. Small store but they usually have what I'm looking for.

Service Staff are knowledgeable. The owner does not sell items to you if you do not need it. When buying health related items, seller's honestly matters. You do get it here. Price is average, not too cheap. But you often get some discount when you become frequent visitor. Better than few other shops I visited. [i.e.: you do not suffer from store staff's 'They know it all' attitude.]

Terrible customer service. What a disappointment. I have given these people my faithful and loyal business for the last 12 years and thought that I was getting reasonably priced supplements, especially with my 10% off discount card. Then, I went into a new health food store yesterday where I found my pricey digestive enzymes regularly priced $13 DOLLARS CHEAPER than what Nature's Health Food has been selling me. About 5-6 years ago Nature's Health Food suddenly jacked up the prices of these enzymes and many other of their products without warning or explanation. When I inquired about their pricing increases, they told me a sob story about how with the construction of Target their business was suffering and they were forced to temporarily increase prices but once Target was open and they were getting the same "foot traffic" they would adjust prices again and they gave me a 10% discount card. Target came and went and they did not "adjust" their prices, in fact, they have continued to increase them. They also tried to sell expired supplements on the shelves which I took to the counter and pointed out to them. They put "SALE" stickers on items that are not actually sale prices, just use the stickers as a sneaky pricing gimmick to make you think you are getting a deal. I wanted to support this small business and continued to shop there until the last 2 months when they refused to help me locate a supplement I desperately needed for a serious health problem as I cannot take the pharmaceutical version. They did not carry L-Methionine and claimed it was sold out, try back in a week which I did for many weeks and they still did not have it. I also needed a specific type of liquid chlorophyll. They promised they would order these items in "by Monday" and to call and check and they wrote down my name (and probably tossed it in the trash when I left). I stopped in the following Tuesday to check, giving them an extra day. No product. They blamed the "manufacturer" which is odd since the products came from 2 different sources. They said they would order it again, promising arrival again, by next Monday. They took my number and made a big production out of promising to call me when I explained I would have to go elsewhere if they could not get this product by Monday. They tried to tell me L-Methionine was so "rare" and difficult to keep in stock and it was not their fault. Next Monday comes, no phone call. I wait a few days extra, no phone call. I call them and ask what is going on, they could not have cared less about my predicament and just claimed "oh they did not bring it". What kind of service is that? I went to a new, larger "chain" at Warden & Eglinton. Not only did they have L-Methionine, they had 2 ENTIRE SHELVES of this allegedly rare, hard-to-come-by enzyme. When I asked the staff if this was particularly difficult to source , they looked at me like I had 3 heads and said "it's a standard product" and even inquired what I was using it for and offered helpful suggestions. The digestive enzymes I buy are regularly priced at this store for $13 cheaper. That is a 30% price difference for a product I buy every 6-8 weeks. Also, be advised that if you buy a Himalayan "rock" lamp from Nature's Health, the light bulb will likely be dead and they will try and give you a coloured bulb (green) and pretend it's "clear", so make a trip to Lowe's for some extra clear bulbs because Nature's Health will once again be sneaky about basic matters such as the colour of the light bulb they are selling you. Their Himalayan pink rock salt (edible type) is also very over-priced. Nature's Health Food, your staff have become rude and unprofessional and clearly do not care about regular customers who have supported you for over a decade. Your products are significantly over-priced and you are sneaky, lazy and dishonest. How can you afford to operate this way in a city full of Health Food Stores? I used to spend a few thousand dollars in your store annually, YOU HAVE NOW LOST MY BUSINESS FOR GOOD. Was it worth it?
