★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group stayed at the lodge for three days in early August. We were treated with friendly respect and politeness. Everyone on the staff was helpful. Our rooms were very well furnished and comfortable. the daily breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. as were the optional dinners. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would certainly consider staying again.

Our guides, Callie and Laura, were professional, friendly, and experienced. The meals were nutritious and paddling decisions were made with the group's best interest in mind. Thanks for a fun week!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location with stunning scenery. Owner David & staff are wonderful, helpful and kind. My partner and I have completed courses and trips, which were well planned and organized. Meals were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the All day guided Kayak tour package. Caillie, our guide was very knowledgeable of the area. She took us to Michipikoten River, visited a couple of waterfalls and took us around the bay on Lake Superior. Gave us some interesting facts and history about the area. I loved her loon calling skills! I just regretted asking her to show us how!
NSA also offers beach camping which we took advantage of. We were so glad we opted to do so as we got to watch the most dramatic sunset on their beach serenaded by a flock of loons! It was a complete outdoor experience which we will treasure the rest of our lives!
