Doah Ozum is co-founder of NCMC. He has 20 years of real estate experience gained through various commercial real estate professional service roles and also earned through his personal commercial real estate holdings. In his capacity representing borrowers in financing transactions, Doah has engaged a variety of clients ranging from private owner/operators to sophisticated investors and private investment corporations on construction, interim financing and term debt. Doah is a strategic planner with a proven track record in commercial real estate.
Doah holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, an MBA from Queen’s University, the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as well as being a Project Management Professional (PMP). Doah is also a sessional instructor at the JR Shaw School of business at NAIT where he teaches a business management course.

Although the situation was more complicated than usual, they were persistent and followed through on everything they said they would. Doah even went the extra mile and made sure to stay involved after attaining financial commitment(s) until all funds were processed. My expectations were quite honestly exceeded, and would like to assure anyone that they deserve this five start rating. I look forward to doing business with them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our company hired Doah Ozum on March 8, 2021 to secure us a mortgage to replace a construction mortgage. Doah was unable to get us a mortgage on a timely basis with favorable terms & conditions, which has taken over a year. We were very disappointed with the lack of services provided by Doah & NCMC. Doah was not able to secure us a mortgage on a timely basis which caused us undue stress. Because of the urgency of securing a mortgage, I took the matter in my own hands to get a mortgage and was able to secure a mortgage within the month with favorable terms & conditions. After doing so we still had to pay Doah / NCMC mortgage fees of 50% which came to $16k.
As per my legal council advice & our personal advice to all of the people seeking to work with Doah / NCMC or any other mortgage brokers please be aware and not sign a exclusive contract, have a start/end date to the contract which should not be renewed automatically. Renewal should be done in writing or the contract terminated. In addition, have a condition that if you are able to get your own mortgage then you are not entitled to pay any commissions to the brokerage. This will save you from paying any fees to the mortgage brokers especially if they were not able to get you your desired mortgage. This was a hefty lesson learnt. Just be aware before you sign any contract with Doah / NCMC. We personally do not recommend Doah Ozum / NCMC moving forward. Thank you & good luck.
