I have been purchasing my eyewear here for years and I have never been disappointed.
My most recent purchase of prescription sunglasses with bifocal lenses for golf has been great.
Staff a friendly and they provide exceptional customer service.

From the lady I emailed to book a consultation, to the optometrist who checked my eyes, to the lady who helped me pick frames, to the lady who sized them for me: I was treated as a priority every time. This facility is nothing but professional and caring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to buy safety glasses for work. Found the prices way too high in the past, and go either to Kingston or Belleville for my personal lenses. This time I had a requisition and figured I'd support local and try Napanee opticians again.
The service was frankly terrible. The employee laid out 4 trays of safety frames and left me to try them on as she was doing something more important in the back. I narrowed down a few options only to be told, when she returned, that none of those options were available. I chose another frame, same story, I can't have those ones either. At this point I asked why, and was told curtly "it's your requisition, you should know".
I asked which ones are covered, and could she show me those and I'd choose. The employee sighed and showed me a pair and said "these ones". Fine. I bought that pair (I regret that now, I should have left on the spot).
If you're fine overpaying to get treated like you're a bother, give them a try.
I Won't be back.
Found out later that the owner has a penchant for firing employees on sick leave.
