β β β β β Great guys and great to deal with, have been dealing with them for years and had nothing but a good experience, my son was looking at buying a jeep from this seller JM but the shop found too many problems with it so we didn't buy and of course we couldn't get our deposit back, the seller was a total nutjob so of course he leaves a bad review for the mechanic shop. I highly recommend them..

β β β β β Had my recently purchased but older model Toyota serviced for safety and performance here and was very satisfied. Very thorough inspection and good advice on what was important and necessary and what could be scheduled later. There was a significant amount of work necessary and they completed the repairs in a timely way and the pricing was very fair. I will return here for service in the future. I did not know when I booked it in but was pleased to find out about the new warranty offered and honoured by the NAPA system .

β β β β β I had my PT Cruiser in for transmission work that proved challenging to do because of the age and discontinued nature of the car. Richard was helpful, knowledgeable and fair. A month later my engine light came on again and I called him up. He told me that sometimes if you fill up with gas and do not tighten the gas cap as snug as you should, that this could happen. Sure enough, tightened the gas cap and engine light off. Richard is an honest, kind mechanic that you can trust.

β β β β β I have both of my cars serviced at this location and have always been happy with the service. Richard and his staff go out of their way to explain to me the reason and timeline for any required repairs. In most cases, I get my car back before the promised time.

Richard definitely goes above and beyond for his customers and I would definitely recommend Richard's shop for anyone looking for a mechanic.

Richard's team completed the inspection quickly and accurately and charged us the most competitive price we could find in the entire TriCity area and beyond. Richard himself completed the required paperwork for us to ensure that we would not face any difficulty registering the vehicle. We are very glad to have found Richard and would highly recommend him and his team of mechanics!

β β β β β I couldnβt recommend highly enough taking your vehicle to Prairie Auto Care for repairs or service. Richard is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with & I trust him completely. Heβs given me honest advice & information before beginning work which is very important with the price of automotive repairs these days. Other mechanic shops like Canadian Tire etc tend to call with bad news, he let me know potential issues before starting work so I would be prepared for extra charges (which was minimal but often shops thatβs not the case). Iβve been in now for repairs 3X and the workmanship has top rate every time & the billing has been very reasonable . If you live in Coquitlam or Poco or just want a mechanic you can depend & trust this is the shop go.
Recently i did some major brake work and I originally had gone Budget Brake & Muffler on Fraser Hwy in Surrey, they didnβt do what said , send me away with dangerous brakes and the mechanic at Prairie Auto got things 100%. Richard informed me about work charged to me but never done and even talked to the franchises owner of Budget Brake and Muffler (Mike) who taken advantage and sent away driving a dangerous vehicle. (He has his license revoked until these circumstances for safety) Richard call the mechanic after he lied to me.
I canβt say enough. Good people at Prairie-Auto-Care and great work . I wonβt get a second quote next time from other mechanic. No need I know I will be treated fairly, prices will be competitive I donβt have to worry.
We need more honest, capable small business in our community we can depend and trust like Richard and his fine mechanics!
