★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kevin provided professional, knowlegable and courteous srevice and was very easy to talk to. I had asked for an overall inspection of my elderly Mother's car. Recommendations seemed reasonable and work was completed in a timely fashion. They even were kind enough to drop the car back to my Mom once work was completed as i do not live nearby. Final bill came in slightly under quote and at no point did i feel like we were being taken advantage of. Kevin even e-mailed me the quote and the final invoice. I was extremely happy with the whole experience and would definately have my Mom's car serviced there going forward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into Jim's a few weeks ago, to ask about a safety for a motorbike. This business is a few blocks from my home.
The lady I spoke with, never came to the counter, but just replied rudely from the back of the shop... "It better have the original exhaust".
I left, and will never spend a cent at this business. Such rude and poor customer service. I drove 45 minutes to another town and had incredible service at Pete's in Pembroke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came there for a quick check-up. Our car was making a weird sound and we were going for a long trip, my pregnant wife, my 19 months old daughter and me. Kevin acted like we were wasting his time. We were ready to pay him, he gave us an extremely high estimate of the cost and didn’t say goodbye. He ended it abruptly, saying : I have to go back to work and told us to cross our fingers for the car not to break on the way.
Worst costumer service. Highest ridiculous price estimate ever. Went to Quick Lane instead, great costumer service there, great price, friendly, professional and quick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been using Jim's to service my cars since they were recommended a number of years ago by Tom Prince, one of Renfrew County's most respected car dealers. Jim and Pauline are a pleasure to do business with: friendly and efficient in the best Ottawa Valley way.
For the most part I deal with head mechanic Kevin. He is the best service co-ordinator/mechanic I have dealt with. His diagnostic skills are top notch and he invariably finds the most cost effective way to fix the problem. Over the years Kevin has kept my small fleet on the road, safe and sound. He gets my highest recommendation.
