There is no such place for you to collect oyster and other clams

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place to dig up clams. Clams are close to the surface. With a garden claw, even kids can dig them up easily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nanoose Bay is my favourite spot for calm picking and Oysters. However, in the past few years there was a warning regarding consuming those shellfishes.
This location has a stone-line divider and on its left side is reserved for First Nation ONLY! And so you can only pick clams on the right side.
As you walk towards south. They are area where you can pick oysters too.
Be sure to check your tides and go have fun during the low tides.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice views but currently pretty smelly beach. There is not many parking spots but you can park alongside the road. Lots of clams and seashells. Rocky area. Right near I think a trailer park. The view is better from some other beaches but it seems fairly quiet here.
