★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate how the fish are treated, if you did all that stuff to humans you would be thrown in jail, guys think about this doing a private activity by yourself and then dying. Or women think about getting cut open having your eggs removed and dying afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool spot to stop for a little hike. Also great swimming in the nearby river. Not ideal for really small kids as there's a bit of current and rocky shore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is actually a working salmon hatchery with minimal staff, on private property, not open to the public outside working hours; please be more respectful as people live and work here. On leash or in control dogs are welcome if owners are respectful. It is a privilege it is still open to the public, as it is privately owned by Harmac and the main focus is in salmonid enhancement and not tourism. No smoking, fires or after dark access. Please keep noise to a minimum as this is a residential area and residents are getting tired of the all day yelling, screaming, off leash dogs and cars parking in/along driveways.

I had to go for a ride because of cabin fever in the Canadian winter.So with one eye closed and the other grinning at my wife.I planted my thumb on the map and off to the Hatchery we go.I need to come back in the summer time.No doubly its a interesting place. We noticed fairly good paths regardless with dusting of snow,of course you wouldn’t ware your best flip flops in the summer.Winter try better than running shoes for the root snakes that will anchor your foot throwing you off track.We found a cute light lake,frozen over but from what I read the ice surface was dotted with a few grey patches that I would not have walked out on. Play safe have fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice trail they have. Beautiful fall colors. We enjoyed our walk and found different species of birds. I guess a good place for birdwatching too.?
Huge Salmon found in the stream. Children would surely love this place. Adults and kids will both enjoy watching the Salmon.
Stay along the trail were you park your car or else you will ended up like us exited at a different trail close to Cassidy Country Chicken too bad I forgot my I.D. for vaccine passport.
